This is a completely serious club, people who make a decent enough plan will be able to comment and review other plans. Here is some zombie info.
run/walk: they walk
scream/groan: they groan
day/night: All da time babey!
what they attack: EVERYTHING THEY HEAR, OR THAT MOVES!
survivors: very very little, like near 100-1000 people on EARTH
guns: This is real time, being your neighboorhood and everything, you have all the resources you have in your house.
cure: there is none.
where to go: so long as you have a plan to get their, go for it.
how much you can carry: AGAIN, THIS IS REAL TIME
family members: theres a high chance they are zombehs too. able to join: if you didn't read, just make a good plan.
durability: they can take ALOT of damage, worse than playing last stand 2 with just a pistol for the entire game when the zombies have twice as much life.
doors: they can't work a doorhandle for the mostpart of their brain is already rotted I am still making my plan right now, but I think some of you can do it. Let the zombie surviving begin!
DFP, what the hell are you talking about? Things haven't changed, and movies are all lame, and bassed on crap. Never do what they do ok? Next, video games are stupid as well. Do not try and kill ever freaking zombie? Becuse unlike resident evil there will not be a merchant to sell you ammo and guns.
Now, make a plan as to were you would go what you would take, and blah blah blah. Yo uwer ehere once, and failed so epicly......try and not do that again.
I dunno guys, some of the games might teach something. Skater, you're right about RE4, but the first three were more survival-horror than 4. In those, you fight actual zombies, not those weird parasitic Spaniards. And they teach you to forage, and to conserve ammo, and to pay attention to minute details. And to make every shot count. Other than that I agree, unless they make a game based on The Guide, they won't teach much.

I'd just like to add that Leon is a special forces agent, and a mercenary, so basically EVERYTHING he does in the game, you CANNOT do in real life. Fo sho'
nah, we know it wasn't intentional, so we don't really care.
Anyhow, yeah, some games mihgt teach you something, and some movies might have a tiny bit of truth to them, the majority of them arer holly wood looking to make a quick buck. I mean, the main charecter getting the nom nom nom throw on him in the first 3 minutes, or getting shot from going to a gun shop would allmost certainly be a failure. (though people may see it just to make fun of it)
Any ways, that is how i used to think of zombies and such, but the club has tought me to think and so forth. So i thank thoad, once again.
You know that book that was about Zombies, what was it called? Oh and, could I buy it somewhere?
For Muds scenario.
I'd take Bethany, because that allows me to loot one more store, and I would loot the Camp shop, and get what we need, then we run to the movies. We find the big tank of all of the ooze, and make a quick barricade, wedging them in. We then pour all of it down on them, and while they are confused, we run for the hills (well, mountains).
This is one of my first scenarios, so anything above F is good for me.
Not an epic fail, but awfully thin. I think I'd like to give you an incomplete, and ask you to fill things out a bit, explaining they whys and where-fors of your choices.
I'd take chris with me, if I trust him/her it should be for a good reason. We'd raid the gunstore and then head to the cinema. Turn on a movie and close all the doors but two, one for escape and one for the zombies to enter. If enough zombies are inside we make a run and barricade the escape door. After that it's a simple flee. I think i'd go to the farm lands to the south and make another temporary stand there.
ID get a bunch of guns from my gun shop and make a base inside a semi truck. place laser alarms all around the truck in case im asleep. then when i run out of food i would grab a granade from my shop after i run there with a shotgun and kill all zombies in it and take as much food from my house as i can andrun too my shop and hide in the back room.
No, not an f. An F would make me go *clears thorat* EPIC FAIL!!! But i didn't do that...o wait....
Any how, your reasoning for chosing bethany dosn't make much sense. You could allso pick from about 4 other that could also help you loot stores. Next, camping store, great! Movie theater, not so much. The thing they keep butter in is under the floor to my knowledge, and is i na giant tub bolted to the floor. So moveing that, before they found you would be impossible with out a crane. Next, dumping it on them would be a waste of energy. They don't get confused... So a D should be fair...
@Hoodedone.
You just need to think more. Nice cjoice with chris there BTW. First, gun shop is a good coice, but no shotguns, or anything major. Next, power will be out, so the movie isn't happeing bro. Besides, makeing noise from one would be stupid. ENxt, allowing two doors open at once is retarded!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Letting them come to you is a good sollution, but a theater provides no real cover. If they get in there, your dead. And you are assuming they will not find the back door. Which chances are they will.
O, and sense, you mean the zombie survival guide by max brooks? Check your local bookstore, and someone will be more then happy to help. I have never read it, but iheard it was good.
Skater_Kid - They reason he chose Bethany was, as she already has guns, he doesn't need to loot the gun store, leaving him open to to loot two other kinds of shops.
