This is a completely serious club, people who make a decent enough plan will be able to comment and review other plans. Here is some zombie info.

run/walk: they walk

scream/groan: they groan

day/night: All da time babey!

what they attack: EVERYTHING THEY HEAR, OR THAT MOVES!

survivors: very very little, like near 100-1000 people on EARTH

guns: This is real time, being your neighboorhood and everything, you have all the resources you have in your house.

cure: there is none.

where to go: so long as you have a plan to get their, go for it.

how much you can carry: AGAIN, THIS IS REAL TIME

family members: theres a high chance they are zombehs too.
able to join: if you didn't read, just make a good plan.

durability: they can take ALOT of damage, worse than playing last stand 2 with just a pistol for the entire game when the zombies have twice as much life.

doors: they can't work a doorhandle for the mostpart of their brain is already rotted
I am still making my plan right now, but I think some of you can do it. Let the zombie surviving begin!

I hate it when distant relatives just have to get married

Yeah I know what you mean, except all of my distant relatives live about 1000 miles away so the trip is much more torture then the actual ceremony itself.Anyways I understand what you mean by all of that stuff about the roads being blocked, but what about the train tracks?I am on a robotics team I can figure out how to get it to work with two people.(the friend I said I was with is the other)

@manta.

That post was not needed, and has been flaged. Please only post what needs to be said.

@ Crimson.

Hrm...Well it's like my 3 cousin or something, I hardly know her and like...GAH!

Anyhow, if you hear about an outbreak, you best call your bud instantly. If you don't, chances are he will be zombified before you reach him. If he lives clsoe then you have a shot. But don't count on ever fnding anyone.

As for the railroad, that would work. You may come across a train somewere, but chances are most of them should be cleared. I had never thought of those.

Sooo...........HIGH FIVE!

Trains? Interesting though. I'm not sure how complicated modern trains are to run, but that might work. I would be interesting to try and get an older, and apparently more simple to operate steam engine back on the tracks.

Chopping wood for fuel would be more feasible then finding diesel after awhile. Getting enough water into the boiler would be difficult though.

Still, as long as you traveled at a rate of speed that would allow you to stop when you needed to, it might be a great idea.

Failing that, those little one and two man cars that you operate by pumping the handles up and down might be a pretty good option as well.

I have very few resources in my house. My weapon of choice would be a pair of boxing gloves. Upon getting outside I would head to the mall down the road going Mike Tyson on any zombie that gets in my way. Once I arrive I would crank some pump-up music over the intercom, get a baseball bat, and go to town.

well I am starting off in his house if you read the beginning of my plan. Also I would think cell phone lines could still be up and running, since they work over satellites which would be hard for zombies to get to.

Cell phones don't have lines, they have towers, and those towers require energy. It wouldn't take very long for the power to be disrupted.

For the (very) short term, cell phones might have some use, but for long term survival, if you have allies, is the U.S. Army wire phones. The wires have to be laid, and if you want to be careful, they should be buried at least a little bit, but the power used to operate them comes from a hand crank.

Sounds like a lot of work, wouldn't a satphone do the job?

Not familiar with satphones. Let me do some research. One negative, I would have to assume, is that very few people have one.

Okay, quick glance at wiki.. Yes, it seems the biggest drawback is how few people would have one. In addition, I'm not sure they would work much longer then a cell phone, because the satellite signal simply connects you to a switchboard, which then finds the party you are looking for.

As such, as soon as the switchboard loses power, you would be out of luck.

The main problem being sat phone companies need to charge you for the use, so all signals would have to go thru them for (at least) billing purposes.

It might give you some extended use, IF the people you were calling all had sat phones as well, but I doubt that would be a wide variety of people.

Not to be a prick, but you really don't have that choice....

Most people begin choising ther location, but you could get stuck in an area completey unknow to you.

Yup, you really can get stuck in an area, and the bad thing is that it can be an area you know vary well. Sometimes the odd's don't add up right and you get the bad deal.

To be fair, the idea of the initial plan is that they get to start at a place of their own choosing. It is when they answer a scenario that they might get trapped away from a familiar location.

Montsor, then you will have to write what you would do during a breakout in you area. Only using what you have neaby.
Then we (or actually, Mud and Skater) will see if that is good enough for you to survive, and then you will be a member. If not, you will have to try again.
(I think that is the procedure, but you should probably check page 144)

Well since I live in Singapore and I just bought a whole load of energy bars, this is what i would do. I wont take guns, Singaporeans cant own a gun. I'll run/ cycle to the coast, my house us just a few km a way. Then I'll grab a kayak from one of the boat sheds there, fill it with energy bars/ water and rush of to Pulau Tekong. ( One of Singapores military center) Plus beacuse I just took a survival course where I rowed 8 hours non stop, this will be a piece of cake. I'll get supplies there, and guns! =) Maybe one I can handle, with not too much recoil. Then I'll sail to one of the hundreds of islands of Indonesia, making trips during day back to Singapore or the military center to move supplies/ stuff from home. I'll make a mini fortress there, my refuge. After the foods gone well i'll eat fish and coconuts, sniping zombies for fun i guess. For water, Ill use rainwater collected in cocunut shells. It's quite practical actually. Plus zombies cant swim. =) At least I think so. Even if I capsize, Im a pretty strong swimmer.

Forgot to mention, Ill probably get access to tanks/ heavy weaponry on Pulau Tekong. If I manage to use them then, looks like fun! Hell to zombies, ill blow them to bits. Ill also take a phone book and contact anyone inside, tryin to see if anyone survived. But if I encounter soldier zombies, well good luck to me!
