I currently live in an apartment building consisting of only me and my neighbors. I would have no trouble killing these neighbors in the event of an outbreak. I can easily break down my staircase with my sledge hammer. I have a large variety of melee weapons and I'm getting a gun license soon. I keep a huge stock of canned goods in my house considering I am very wary of the potential zombie threat. I am capable of providing power and I have hand operated radios. I would say that I am more than prepared for a zombie threat and I am prepared at all times to exit my location and head to my backup one.

Man, this is gonna be hard... My solo survial plan? OMG thats gonna be impossible.... wait can it include Pets???? Like can i have my dog and my cat? I gotta know in like 2 hours people!

ur virus is unrealistic, u shud base ur stuff on solanum.

The virus works by entering the brain through the bloodstream, using the frontal lobe cells for replication. This replication then destroys the cells and all bodily functions diminish. Solanum mutates the brain into a "new organ" and removes its dependency on oxygen. The corpse is reanimated once the mutation is complete and "this new organism is a zombie, a member of the living dead."

Goliath Syndrome
A type of parasite that is as contagious as a virus. The parasite starts off microscopic, but when it enters the body it grows at a extremely large rate until it's about the size of a human heart. It can do this anywhere in the body, but generally starts in the abdomen and chest. When in the arm, it's likely that it will burst out of the body, causing extreme pain and injury but will keep you alive. From phase 2 (phase 1 being the microscopic phase), it crawls up into your brain, causing extreme pain on the way as it muscles through. May destroy a few organs. From there, the parasite will preform a lobotomy, making room for it in the skull. It then stretches and grows it's tentacles among your bones. At this point, you are a puppet with almost no concience, or control. The Parasite also hooks into your brain, causing all intentions of it's own to be yours.

And we are talking zombies in a fictional outbreak...
Go with one of the viruses allowed or don't try and join because you are depending on a book and not your own imagination, logic and instinct?

Never said your parasite isn't believable. I actually agree that it would be more believable up against the "I ttly mutate dead nerves that I just ate!".
There might be flaws in it, but it is still better than that.

Oh I understand Skater, just wanted to clear that out. Well, waiting for Danny to post, and then I'll try and whip one up.

Okay, just before i start i want you, the so called " Exsperts " around AG on Zombie Survial to tell me if an AirRifle( or AirGun, same weapon diffrent name ) is good Verus zombies.

The Gun can only allow the user to fire one shot until reloading, this is a good thing as it prevents me from going crazy and firing all over the place when i'm in panic.



The Gun can fire Pellets or BB's ( like small steel balls ). The Steel Balls are fired at extreme speed which cause big damage.






My plan won't be ready till the weekend... oh yeah that's right i'm going to my holiday house at the farm for the weekend... well monday is a public holiday and i'll be back down here for then. So my plan wont be posted until at least Monday. So Lil_GaNGsta_BIAze, you may as well whip one up now.

ok. One thing to note as well. For all these weapons you guys are suggesting, can you honestly fire a AR 15, or a assault rifle of any kind in a proffessional manner?

My geussi s probably no. Have any of you ever killed a person, or killed anything that is bigger then a dog?

Im geussing no for most of you, but hey I may be wrong on both geusses.

And also ntoe, the weight of guns, your pack, and so on. You have to be realistic. Even if your full grown, You will still get tired of you carry more then 40 KG on your back each day.

Now then. To get the steamroller back on track, im going to put in a new scenario.

Im using the Moss Parasite as my example now.
(Moss Parasite, a sort of Algae that is infective, and spuds on people via liquid transported seeds, and it sprouts on you. The Moss feeds off your skin cells, and your body, and it causes the hormones for anger, hostility, and cannibilistic genes to erupt into your body.

The people can still retain their conscious mind, and they still retain their skills before hand, but they are weakened by the parasite if they don't get their nutrients and other intake in, and its double the amount then normal >The Moss also, since it's feeding off your skin, will rot the area it's inhabiting, and it can spread. And it's almsot impossible to get rid of without tearing off your skin, and which it would probably jsut sprout into your blood stream, and jsut spreadi nternally, which is worse.)


Ok. You are out in a Sugar cane feild in a tropical climate.

There is a small villa ahead, and you hear the cries of infected people ahead. They are feasting on a corpse, and one of them spots you. He is alarmed, and his arm is badly rotted by the moss, but in his other hand he carries a Hatchet, and the others have machetes, and one of them has a Makarov.

You,a Geurilla fighting a rival group dead ahead, are armed with a bolt action hunting rifle.

You have about 4 packages of 30 bullets, But it's a one shot rifle, as iyt only shoots one bullet per time.

They start yelling out, and telling each other to try and flank you, screaming " GET ON HIS FLANK... THEN SLICE HIM"

And they run at you in diffrent directions. You are ina Sugar cane feild, and one is now 13 metres from you, the hatchet, Then the Makarov one is about 9 metres from you, and the Other, Unarmed Zombie is about 5 metres from you. You have your gun loaded, but you also have a Bayonet, on the end of your rifle. You carry a pack with a waterbottles, some matches, and a knife o nthe side pocket, and a small lightweight blanket.

A villa is dead ahead, and behind you is dense Jungle. You are wearing good mud boots, and with camoflauged pants and a Trench coat, with a Beret.

Thats your full inventory.

What do you do?
