guns: This is real time, being your neighboorhood and everything, you have all the resources you have in your house.
cure: there is none.
where to go: so long as you have a plan to get their, go for it.
how much you can carry: AGAIN, THIS IS REAL TIME
family members: theres a high chance they are zombehs too. able to join: if you didn't read, just make a good plan.
durability: they can take ALOT of damage, worse than playing last stand 2 with just a pistol for the entire game when the zombies have twice as much life.
doors: they can't work a doorhandle for the mostpart of their brain is already rotted I am still making my plan right now, but I think some of you can do it. Let the zombie surviving begin!

Yes, but for how long and how effectivley is still unknown. I can take someone my size, but none of my friends have martial arts skills but my friend Graham has some major whoop a-ss skills and I can hold my own with him.
I have some major whoopa*s skills, especially when I'm on PCP. That's like zombies. They are grown adults on PCP.

From what I can tell, if its spreading in houston, the goverment is gonna say, send choppers, get as many important people as you can, then nuke it.
Best thing I can think of would to be stick to surface streets. Once you get passed the highways, traffic should be minimal, and if you can find a bike (or preferabel a motorcycle) the 15 - 30 miles would be done with pretty quickly.
I have a gun, but I dont want everyone else to know about that. I would keep it hidden, probably underneath my jacket, so its at close reach. If ifind a motorcycle, or someone else with a gun...shoot them. And take what I want. I need to get out. Not get trampled/shoot by panicing people.
IF Icouldn't find any means of trnasportation, I would attempt to make it to a roof. From there I could easily find a less dense direction. And possibly make some travel without being shoved about. Staying on the main roads would be suicide to try and walk. One bonehead in a car is enough to kill everyone there, in no time at all. I would stick to lower streets. Since I live in houston, i would assume I would know some way out of there. I woulld try and head to the gulf Of mexico. ONce there I could find a boat, and hopefully take it across to florida, or somewhere else slightly farther away form the outbreak. I might be able to find and prepare people there.

Let us see here, I know you guys say pics or it did not happen but my dad won't let me take pics so you just have to take my word for it.
I have fired a 30-30, five 20 gauges, four .22's, and mulipile pellet guns that really should not have counted but I put them in there for extra flair.
Valkery if you can't get pictures of your own guns, would you kindly take pictures off the internet so we know what kind of gun we're dealing with here? It might help us judge a little better if we know exactly what kind of gun you're using, how big it is, how long it is, how heavy it is, etc.
Also, I think your pellet guns count as very weak guns here, instead of nothing, considering a pellet gun to the right area of the head probably could enter the brain.

Eyes only. The only place on the head with a direct route to the brain. It's unlikely you'll hit there, though.
