This is a completely serious club, people who make a decent enough plan will be able to comment and review other plans. Here is some zombie info.
run/walk: they walk
scream/groan: they groan
day/night: All da time babey!
what they attack: EVERYTHING THEY HEAR, OR THAT MOVES!
survivors: very very little, like near 100-1000 people on EARTH
guns: This is real time, being your neighboorhood and everything, you have all the resources you have in your house.
cure: there is none.
where to go: so long as you have a plan to get their, go for it.
how much you can carry: AGAIN, THIS IS REAL TIME
family members: theres a high chance they are zombehs too. able to join: if you didn't read, just make a good plan.
durability: they can take ALOT of damage, worse than playing last stand 2 with just a pistol for the entire game when the zombies have twice as much life.
doors: they can't work a doorhandle for the mostpart of their brain is already rotted I am still making my plan right now, but I think some of you can do it. Let the zombie surviving begin!
The 45 is a good choice. But instead of a shot gun i'd invest in a .22. maybe something with a decent mag size. It's a small caliber, but it will pierce the skull. Plus it;s really quiet and you can carry more shells than a shotgun. Cheaper too.
Sorry no cigar. But this isn't a contest anyway. A SAW is a really bad*** gun, but for a zombie it wouldn't help much. You need a clean headshot, prefferably from a distance. The SAW is better a close range, and if it's full auto you'd get the adrenaline pumping and lose your head. Plus you could waste crucial ammo.
And the S.A.W. Is a meduim range weapon. Close range would be like a shotgun or a machete! A small Minigun would clear a crowd of zombies in a couple of seconds.
I don't know if a minigun would. Small bullet so no stopping power. Plus a minigun need lots of ammo, and it can't be carried by one person. That guy from Predator in the jungle? It couldn't happen. all the tech you'd need can't fit in a backpack.
Yeah but you have to get the guns, would you want to fight people for guns? Just wait and you will most likely find some one your way from people who have been changed and left them there.
So it looks as though guns and ammo are the most essentials for an on-the-go survivor. Having weapons is essential, of course, but some of them are just too conspicuous or just plain noisy.
I would probably use my: -.22 pistol, *thanks ex-bf* -I dont own a machete, but a fire hatchet would do for cracking skulls and getting in buildings.
The major consideration is STEALTH. If you get bloody trigger happy, more than likely, youll have plenty of company in no time at all. Shoot ONLY when neccessary, and keep moving. Rambos tend to join the undead in a hurry.
OK. Youve made your move... you breach the fence around the school. Walking across the football field, suddenly a shot rings out and something whizzes by you. It seems some Lonewolf "King of the Field" survivor is not so happy about you getting into his kingdom. He's up near the stands and seems to have a rifle. Rounds zing by you as he rambles about this and that. Two unlucky victims are sprawled nearby. One has a .357 in his hand. The other, around 15 feet from you, has a bandolier on and near him, a shotgun.
How would the survivors handle "His Royal Craziness?"
let say i ran out of ammo out of all my guns.my machete is with me wielding it on my left hand(cause im a lefty)i make a choice to go to the police station.but there are 5 zombies right there would i fight or go to house and see my luck.let see wat you pick but i would pick fighting the zombies wat do you cchoose??
@Strongbow If the shotgun had slug rounds , and not buckshot i'd go for it. Both guns are pretty crappy against a rifle. But I'd probably run away and wait for the zombies to just gather around him. 2 birds with one stone. He takes most of them out, and he eventually runs low on ammo.
Buckshot is basically useless. you might as well dump it into your hand and throw it at the undead. Slugs are better, but also keep in mind:
-shotguns require some degree of expertice. they kick and can be hard to aim. -THEY ARE NOISY. very noisy. you may as well have a bullhorn and invite every deadhead for miles to come and have a nibble. -Slow to load. a bit cumbersome. They DO, however, make a decent bashing weapon, for awhile.
Great work. Lets see some other survivors in action.
I have shot a shotgun before, it wasn't really that hard to aim, and the kick is enough to push your shoulder back, but it is not enough to make a difference in anything.
