This is a completely serious club, people who make a decent enough plan will be able to comment and review other plans. Here is some zombie info.

run/walk: they walk

scream/groan: they groan

day/night: All da time babey!

what they attack: EVERYTHING THEY HEAR, OR THAT MOVES!

survivors: very very little, like near 100-1000 people on EARTH

guns: This is real time, being your neighboorhood and everything, you have all the resources you have in your house.

cure: there is none.

where to go: so long as you have a plan to get their, go for it.

how much you can carry: AGAIN, THIS IS REAL TIME

family members: theres a high chance they are zombehs too.
able to join: if you didn't read, just make a good plan.

durability: they can take ALOT of damage, worse than playing last stand 2 with just a pistol for the entire game when the zombies have twice as much life.

doors: they can't work a doorhandle for the mostpart of their brain is already rotted
I am still making my plan right now, but I think some of you can do it. Let the zombie surviving begin!

O wow, that is an easy zombie to defeat, all you need is something really rancid (like fermented poop (it is drug too you know)) to knock out the zombie.

They have to deal with their own (and other's) rotting FLESH all day, I think they can handle some fermented poop. They also handle roasting bodies and other horrid smells. I've tested them and they can take some raw sewage to the face and not be affected. They do smell blood with extreme power, however. So long as it's living or it hasn't dried up yet.

interesting zombies.. you say they can smell verily good, but they cannot have their smell senses overloaded... Don't you think that makes it a little tid bit unfair?

Zombies also bleed. . .stringing up a few flayed zombies in a certain location will draw all of them to a trap, then. . .BOOM! And at Home Depot, there are all of the chemicals needed to make C4, so it would e a great trap to place fresh zombie corpses, sliced so they bleed, with some homemade C4 under them, and when the zombies flock to the blood, then. . .BOOM! Great auxiliary defense system.

No, zombies bleed blood. The only thing distinguishing the zombies from people is that the zombies were infected with a virus- and a single virus would not be able to mutate a human enough to transmute tyhe blood into a different substance.b

Not mine, if you've been here long enough you'd actually find out that my zombies bodies are cleared of blood and most fluid (so as to move), the parasite that lives in their skull only needs the brain and the lungs to survive, and before you say tear gas, it takes a while till my parasite suffocates, about 24 hours. So unless there's something in your pocket that actually DESTROYS the lungs, you're out of luck.

Interesting... I'll have to work that into my quintessential weapons guide.

That isn't feasible in reality whatsoever. . .the brain and lungs woudl still need oxygen or the cells would decay so much that the zombie would just go totally necrotic and waste away VERY quickly.

You're forgetting that my parasite is not the brain, it simply needs oxygen, it caves wriggles a small tentacle into the lung of which it breathes through, the brain is needed to keep the lungs active. The only reason why a shot to the brain would most likely kill it in one shot is because the parasite is about the size of a heart and lives in the skull (it eats out some pieces of the brain it doesn't need, also), it'd most likely be shot with the brain. If you crush it in it'll probably shrivel up from the sun. It's a delicate parasite that's very complicated.

Ah. So, the parasite feeds oxygen to the brain itself? And then the brain powers the lungs from there, supplying more oxygen and perpetuating survival. Aha!

At last my guide is here!

Analysis of HVZ combat techniques (human vs. zombie)

Zombies have little or no feeling in their body; this is probably due to the âvirusâ or âparasiteâ cutting of the pain receptors (because if the body feels pain, it is not a very good soldier otherwise).
A zombieâs hands are almost as lethal as their mouths so make sure it canât grab you. The zombieâs hands will probably be covered in cuts and poop and other infectious viruses. The zombieâs grip strength is greater than the average human, but it is in a burst, so the grip would slack quickly (due to lack of impulse from the brain). So wear long clothing
The weak point of the zombie is the brain. Now I donât mean that it is necessarily easy to crack a skull, (around 800-1300 pounds of force). Plus whatever hair the zombie has left over will act as a damper.
+++âReachâ combat.+++

http://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq148/Island_Empire/zombielongrange-300x229.jpg?t=1241935433

This type of combat involves polearms, and halberds in effect to smash the zombieâs skull from a distance, or like the light quarter staff, to push zombies away from you so you can GTFO (get the fudge out) ASAP (as soon as possible).
Reach Combat, or from now on LRC (long ranged combat) is probably the safest to perform, and it doesnât require a high amount of skill.
Skill level: medium
Chance of zombie infection: 6%
The distance for reach combat is around 6 feet or about 1.3 meters. However since the weapon is long, therefore it can be unwieldy to deliver constant critical blows to the skull, so some muscle strength and conditioning is required
========================================
+++Mid ranged combat+++

http://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq148/Island_Empire/zombiemedium2-300x209.jpg?t=1241935462

This type of combat, is usually used to engage in enemy at 2-3 feet or .7 -.9 meters. This is probably the most common way to take down zombies, because it allows the user to make use of a wide variety of blunt or sharp objects that can be found easily.
Skill level: medium
Chance of zombie infection: 10-14%
Now I mentioned the lethality of zombie hands, and in the range the zombies will most likely to have their hands out forward to catch you, so your first goal is to attempt to break their wrist/forearm (500 pounds of force). This ensures your infection rating to go down from 13 ish to 8 ish. The key is to avoid being grabbed and bitten, you must also have a decent skill to be able to use a weapon effectively.
=======================================
+++Close Quarters combat+++

http://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq148/Island_Empire/closecombat.png?t=1241935507

This is âCQCâ usually the distance is less than a foot (.3 meters), with constant contact with an infected individual. Combat at this distance frequently occurs indoors, and many times unexpectedly. CQC means you are not weaponless, rather you have something like a dagger, piece of glass, a crow bar, basically mid ranged combat, but a little shorter.
Skill level: HIgh
Chance of zombie infection: 30-50%

Two common scenarios when CQC takes place are during undead home invasions and an urban search and rescue (USAR) operations in an apartment or housing complex. Due to the proximity with the undead and the confined space where it usually takes place, it is a frightening and deadly range to battle the undead.

At this range, the zombie most likely will have its hands on your body, and will be seconds away from a lethal bite. In order to survive at this distance, your skills need to be razor-sharp and your execution flawless.
Most of you kiddies will get butt F***ed by these lovely nasties. Unless you have adequate skill (tae quon do doesnât count or any martial arts, because you will forget it right away when you see these guys) the only preventive way is to keep your head cool and incapacitate the zombie, (you noobs! Donât go for killing blows! Because youâll get eaten).
======================================

+++ Unarmed combat+++

http://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq148/Island_Empire/zombieunarmed-300x254.jpg?t=1241935543

This is the situation most of us find ourselves in. Basically the situation will be FUBAR (effed up beyond all repair), and now you have to bust a move and GTFO=>.
Skill level: Higher than you can count
Chance of zombie infection: 90%

Whether due to poor planning, unfortunate circumstance, or just plain bad luck, you may find yourself at some point not only at close quarters combat distance with the undead, but also completely unarmed.

There is no more dangerous fighting situation than engaging in unarmed zombie combat (perhaps with the exception of such combat with multiple assailants.) To escape an unarmed encounter uninfected and with your life intact is extremely difficult, but not impossible. The better your skills are and the faster you act, the greater your chance of surviving.

In these particular combat engagements, the primary goal is not to neutralize your attacker, as it is extremely difficult to do so with only your bare hands as weapons. The goal is to remove yourself from the situation as quickly as possible, and then, and only then, to think about eliminating the threat.
====================================
A side note on multiple attackers:

http://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq148/Island_Empire/zombiemultiple2-300x138.jpg?t=1241935570

DO NOT GO RAMBO, OR I WILL SHOOT YOU MYSELF. That is all.
Basically it is a huge cluster f*** of you and 10 other zombies, when is a sure sign to run away? when there is more than 4 zombies and your skill level is at 5, on the DDX combat scale. Regardless of skill levels if there are 10 or more, GTFO-> immediately try not to engage the zombies at all.

Ah, I was about to nitpick at your plan about the zombie images XD.

Great guide DDX, but the only thing I diagree with would be the wearing long clothes. Unless you meant long as in long sleeved shirts, I'd disagree. Wearing baggy clothes will let them grab, then *nom* you. Wearing skin-tight clothes will provide better insulation if you have some more, slightly loose clothes, and they will be flexible, like another skin.

Well when I mean Long sleeves, I mean something to cover bare skin, as during my research in the woods, I found sticks scratching at my skin (I even bled a few times from trees lashing out) so I assume zombies will probably lash at you too. The smallest cut can be the end of your life. (virus strain zombies only not parasite strain)
