how much you can carry: AGAIN, THIS IS REAL TIME
family members: theres a high chance they are zombehs too. able to join: if you didn't read, just make a good plan.
durability: they can take ALOT of damage, worse than playing last stand 2 with just a pistol for the entire game when the zombies have twice as much life.
doors: they can't work a doorhandle for the mostpart of their brain is already rotted I am still making my plan right now, but I think some of you can do it. Let the zombie surviving begin!

My hope is to run through the field to the outer area. Draw the zombies out of the pepper fields and double back to the tractor.
Get it rollen and plow over the zombies, the ones that climb on the side i'll use the hoe to knock them off. Then im sure i have a car in the parking lot (am i correct?) much faster then the tractor. i'll make my way to the parking lot using the tractor and the hoe to defend myself...then get into the car and try to make my way into town to get supplies (guns, knifes, lighters, canned food, water...etc) and maybe stock up on infomation (debrief people who have survived the current swarms, news...etc.)
I'd pretty much do the same as Hulk up there. The tractor is my only means of escape, so I'd have to get to that somehow. When I am on the tractor, I'd have to get that started up and plow over anything that's in my way until I reach the parking lot. And the Zombies that try to hand on from the side will have to be knocked down by the hoe. Now, I wouldn't drive the tractor all the way to the parking lot, where as I'd jump out and sprint to the car. It's faster then having to drive it all the way. Once I get in my car, I'd have to go find a safe place to rest/go.
Where as my house is no longer a safe location, nowhere is really safe. I'd turn on the radio to hear about the infection and where to locate in order to survive. I'd have to go to the nearest safe location listed. Once there, I'd be safe. But the chances of that are slim. So if that does not work, I'd pretty much have to go find a safe location such as a friends house (hopefully) or find supplies. Then again, everyone would be doing that, which would mean zombies would be attracted to those heavily populated areas no?

eat all the tobasco peppers and then die happy. actually my guestion is do the tobasco peppers affect zombie sense? i.e. sight, smell. ect.
the heavy gloves and stuff should prevent minor scratches which prevents infection.

Well, obviously the only good way to get out of this is basicly do he same as hulk. You can use the cart to knock the nearest zombie outa the way. and use the hoe to fight/keep away other zombies. Im not sure if i would go all the way outside as i dont want to attract more zombies into the area.
But basicly get the tractor then get to the car and escape.
Hrm, I would actually avoid the tractor. I would try and run to the out side of the feild, putting all the zombies on one side of me. Then run with the cart and hoe, into the parking lot.
NO tractor needed. Besides, I don't know how to drive tracotrs.

The peppers obstruct your sight and the zombies' sense of smell, yes.
Keep in mind that you can only see the tractor and the zombies in front of it. You can't burst through random bushes and expect to survive. You'd have to poke the hoe through to test the location you're about to slowly, carefully, noisily enter(hint hint) unless you wanna be zombie food.
i think it would be best to just dump out the cart and just use that to push the zombies out of the way to my car, as that would be the fastest ans i cant drive a tractor well.
You wake up one morning to a loud crash and scream instantly you wake up discombobulated and confused. You look outside your window an see that zombies are running a muck in your area. you hear another crash in front of your house, you go look and see a giant car crash has accured in front of your house at least 10-15 zeds are feasting apon the bodies, of the victims of the crash. Your the only one up in your family what is you plan of escape?
A little tough as in a lot can happen. By crash I assume it happened out on the street and not into my house right?
Anyway, with the zeds feeding on the remains of the driver, I'd quickly have to alert my family or anyone else in the house. I'd pretty much tell them I'd explain later, just get everyone up and get in the car, pack food and bring some weapons for protection.
Where as, my house does not have guns, but if I did, I'd have to grab all of that, grab the little food I can fit in my bag/backpack and pretty much get everyone scrambled into the car. No time for something big. Drive the hell out of there, and find a safe location. (Military/safety location put on the radio.)
Now you could lock all the doors and windows in your house but there are 10-15, which means any little barricade your house provides would be overrun, even if you had all the food, ammo and time to sit it out. A normal house is not made for zombie onslaughts. So it would make sense for it to be weak right? Anyway, no real sense of barricade's would be made.
This is the typical house, no matter how much you think you have it planned out, waking up in the middle of an attack is the worst possible thing. Since it leaves you little time to prepare and little time to counter back.
