This is a completely serious club, people who make a decent enough plan will be able to comment and review other plans. Here is some zombie info.

run/walk: they walk

scream/groan: they groan

day/night: All da time babey!

what they attack: EVERYTHING THEY HEAR, OR THAT MOVES!

survivors: very very little, like near 100-1000 people on EARTH

guns: This is real time, being your neighboorhood and everything, you have all the resources you have in your house.

cure: there is none.

where to go: so long as you have a plan to get their, go for it.

how much you can carry: AGAIN, THIS IS REAL TIME

family members: theres a high chance they are zombehs too.
able to join: if you didn't read, just make a good plan.

durability: they can take ALOT of damage, worse than playing last stand 2 with just a pistol for the entire game when the zombies have twice as much life.

doors: they can't work a doorhandle for the mostpart of their brain is already rotted
I am still making my plan right now, but I think some of you can do it. Let the zombie surviving begin!

Ok skater_kid from now on there will be no more scenarios or comments on stories. I will just write scenarios. Could you please critique my last one though?

CB4. Only thing with your plan ,is that you rely alot on your van....roads will be blocked, which means cars will not get you far.

(my first plan was mager fail)

Anys, I like your plan over all, though I do wonder, if your neiborghs are away on your, wont there weapons be away with them?

Valkery.

Again, dont rely on cars, and we go north? What is north yo uwant to get to?

Do not, I repeat, do NOT, put your self close to zombies if you cna avoid it.

Then I would go and kill all my neighbors out of mercy

That us basiacally asking to get hurt. Don't go near them, if they dont go near you.

Schockwave, i over reacted, and apoloagize. Just plaesase make plan, as to where you owuld go, what you would, what you would you take, ect

No worries, I've been known to overreact. We're only human.

Mmkay, here's my plan:

(Presuming I already know it's a zombie apocalypse)

I wake up. I waste no time, and immediately grab a fork/knife off my dresser/nightstand. I'm always eating in my room when I watch and dishes aren't usually disposed of immediately. I open the door, and methodically search the house for the first sign of a zombie. Being quicker and smarter, I dodge around their futile swipes and spear their brain with the knife or fork. Presuming no injuries occur, I empty my school backpack, my brother's, and the 2 hiking bags in the closet. Filling them to the brim with canned food, some perishables, water, and other essentials, I head out the door.

I live in a pretty rural area, so the only threat posed is by my neighbors. One of them spots me and beings approaching. I run to the doghouse, get my dog Roxy, load up the truck and get in. I back up so as to put the zombie in my way, and promptly run it over. I drive to the nearest gas station, and the area is infested with infected. Not a viable option. The next several are all too infected for me to fill up at, and on my way to a real out-of-the-way one, I stop at mu Uncle Danny's. I grab the 3 or 4 guns in the house (him being a hunter) and corresponding ammunition, along with some more canned goods after sweeping the house and using their own butcher knives to kill them, being careful of coming in contact with blood.

I reach the gas station, waste the 3 people there, fill up the truck and as many gas tanks as possible (most likely 5 or 6) and drive for 2 or 3 hours. I am now at a very isolated house my Granddad owns deep in the mountains of Pennsylvania. Fortifying the house accordingly and using the surrounding forests (plentiful) and several nearby rivers (adequately bountiful) I survive for several years there, constantly broadcasting on my shortwave radio. Presuming no rescue is coming, I continue this raid-n-hide style until eventually meeting my demise. Suicide is not an option.

^ A few questions and problems for you.

A fork will not fair well against a Zombie. Now, even though they are the typical slow swipe Zed, they can still over power you, especially in close quarters. And your only protection being a fork, well, not fair helpful in that scenario.

And you would need to gather you supplies quickly, even in some cases, leaving the dog. If you do pack up, I don't think you need to back up and run over the Zed. If you have the chance to escape, don't waste time hunting the very last threat.

Do you know how to use the guns, what of this Uncle Danny? Threat? And if not, what will happen to him?

Gas Station, how will you get about the threat(s) if there are three in the store and what if there are more then one outside?

Also, this quick killer type of attitude will not fair well in most cases. Will you be able to kill your family and friends as easy as you say? Will you be able to ride and hide?

I realize the fork and the close quarters don't mix well together, would you prefer I outrun them? And I only ran over the "Zed" because it was attracted to my location and since I took the time to pack up a lot of supplies, including my dog, it had most likely reached me by then.

Yes, I know how to use guns. And I don't understand the question about my Uncle Danny. What do you mean by threat? As in is he zombified?

The isolated Gas Station threats would be easily neutralized with a shot or two each, not a big problem.

I understand that my family and friends were once my family and friends, but that is no longer the case. Killing them is not really killing them, but killing a Zombie. And besides, it's sort of like an act of mercy on them. I'd hate for them to roam the earth, forever infected and stupid.

And my raid-n-hide technique will probably be the best bet depending on what type of outbreak this is. Are we talking Class 2 or 3 with a few hundred or multiple thousands of zombies... or are we talking Class 4 total outbreak, undead rule the world type of thing?

Outrun? No, but you'd need something much better then a fork, even a small pole could do well.

Yes. And how well protected is he? Would he be able to survive?

Yeah, I asked because sometimes people say they can, and yet they know they can't. I on the other hand don't know, if it came to it. As in face to face, I'd do it out of panic and self defense or some may freeze.

Alright, your in a rural area, it shouldn't be that much of a problem, so let's say it progresses throughout the levels? From the lowest to the highest.

Hey guys. Back for good from helping my family with house stuff so we can move out (We plan on moving soon, so I'll have to redo my plan when I get to my new area, because my current one involves going to a nearby island. Wont work where we're going!)

Alright, to make up for being gone for so long, I'm going to make you guys a scenario. Keep in mind it's my first one.

The setting is at night. You're working late at a new job, (Or you're staying after school at a new school), and you're doing your new office job/school work, and you turn on a radio that's built into your phone. (Yes, you just bought a radio app for you phone too.) You flip through the channels and hear multiple things about "riots downtown". You decide to listen to one, and it explains that "riots are forming downtown, and rioters are attacking anyone they come in contact with. Multiple people have been transported to the nearby hospital, and police are arriving at the sites to arrest the rioters." You realize that you're just down the street from the only hospital downtown, and look out the window and notice 13 people walking around slowly, covered in blood. They are clearly zombies, as the blood is all on their mouth, teeth, and nails. Around you are desks, staples, letter openers, computers, copy machines, water jugs inside of water dispensers, and a decent sized fridge full of food in the lounge (obviously put what you're going to take, please.). After you gather what you take, you notice that the ones out front have gotten closer. They're too close to sneak past now, as they'll either hear, or smell you, though the darkness would prevent them from seeing you. Out the back door, you can see two zombies standing right next to each other, slightly to the right of the door. They're a few meters away, and if you're not carrying something loud, or a lot of stuff, you could probably sneak past them. Police will be arriving soon and quarantine the area, planning to arrest the zeds, thinking they're rioters. They will most likely open fire if one of them is bitten, and chaos will ensue.

Sorry if it's different from most scenarios, in the aspect that you're not trying to fight zombies, you're trying to escape, but I thought you guys might like a change. I also thought this one would make you think a little on what to take with you. No cars, little supplies, and a time limit to get out of the area while trying not to get bitten. Have fun with it.

To answer tray's Scenario. Since im cooped up i na office (of which I hate offices, too many kiss ups in that sort of job.)

I would probably fill bottles with water from the dispenser, and then make sure I plug it quickly, and take it. Geussing there is window curtains in the main lounge, I would take it, and rip part of it, and make a small sack. Then, I would go to the fridge, and take anything that won't rot for a few days (preferrably something like Beef Jerky, or Raisins, peanuts, Bread, ect.)

And Place the food, and water bottles in the ripped curtain, and tie it to my pants. Then I would take the blinds pole, the pole that holds the blinds, rip it off, and
use the pole as a weapon. Then I would get the hell out, via the Back door of the place, and then use the pole as a weapon. I would proceed away from downtown. I have probabyl enough supplies ,without weighing myself down, for at least 5 days.
If I encountered any of my co workers, Well, WHO HERE WORKED IN A OFFICE BEFORE? If you have, You probably have fantisized on how to kill them. I would probably hate them, and I would kill them normally, even if they weren't zombies, since the lot of them would be brown nosing suck ups and backstabbers.

Whatever the case, outside on the street, OPPOSITE THE STREET FROM THE GOLIATH ZOMBIES, and geussing I have no car, but rather a bike, I would probably take my bike, And ride it. (A Bicycle, not a motorbike.) I would ride it, and it is faster and less strenous then walking. That way I can get the hell out quickly, and then I'll ditch the ride once I have to leave the city.

I would probably hit a conveneince store if possible, And then see if I can just at least grab something. Sure, looter's may have ransacked the place, but they wouldn't have been able to steal every peice of food in the store, and on the plus side, I know there won't be any zombiesi n there at the moment. So I would take the food, and get out of the city when I can.

That way, I get out into the countryside, and I'll probably survive, as I can live out in the bush without no knife and just those supplies, as I've done rough camping before, and my military experncies (rough camping is essentially going out into the jungle/Forest/Mountains, And taking nothing but the clothes on your back, mabye a little bag of food, or just a knife with your clothes, and trying to survive)

And in that way, I'll probably live, considering That pole can act as a Tent post when I put leaves and such or whatever I find to serve as a tent. That way I can survive out in the bush, and set traps for a bit. And zombies will have a tough tiem travelling through there, since their sense of smell will be confused by so many tree's, and wildlife, and they won't be able to see or hear well eithier due to wildlife. But now my problem would not jsut be zombies(guessing this is in North America, not my home of Dominican) There would be Bears, Wolves, and so on, but of which I could keep at bay with the pole.

Thats how I would survive. You didn't specify if it was in a tropical enviroment, or Mountain range or forest type of enviroment (besides the urban city)

But thats my plan.

I just think that if you go north that zombies will not want to follow you. Like I have reiterated time and time again, they do not like cold!

Cold or not, doesnt matter to a zombie, they dont even care if their on fire, they just go.

North? As in Canada? Because I'm already in Canada, and does that mean I'll have a shield around me as the US burns? I don't think so. Remember, most of this is 'fiction' and now 'fact'. So, you might be right.

But if were are going off from teh typical Zed, then more then likely the cold will only take effect later rather then sooner. It'll take awhile for it to get cold, etc. And even so, it'll continue to march towards new victims, unless it's brain were destroyed, or body to the point of no use.

And note. You will have a better chance of surviving in colder regions, since their bodies would be slower, and theyu woudl freeze to death. But they would still go after you, and it may actually be worse, due ot white outs. Now i've been to Canada, Mainly along it's praire's, both of the coasts, and Ontario, and even its North West territories, And they all have diffrent conditions. Praires= Dry Windy cold
Northwest Territories= icy, windy, and Air cold.
Ontario= Moistened cold
East coast= Windy, and Moistened cold
West coast= Not too cold actually, but can get chilyl i nthe mountains. Rains.
It may be bad because of whtie outs, esepcially i nthe far north, since you couldn't see anything.

Now in Dominican, It's the opposite. We have lots of Jungle, beaches, and Swamps inland.
Thats a double egded sword. Sure, zombies may be slowed down in the mud and constant rains, but if your not a local, or its stormy seasons, yo uwill be slower too.

Not only that, Swamps tend to preserve bodies, so zombies may actualyl be mroe effiecent.
Plus if any of us who has ever got stuck in mud, where they almost sunk in it up to their torso, knows hwat I mean. You would sink into the mud and means easy prey for zombies.

But its not just simply that though, the jungle masks your scent, and its heavy brush, so ti may helped you out.

The worst place I'd think for a zombie outbreak, probably a desert, or a Huge city. In a Huge city, ti be hotter, so they'd move faster. In a desert you may have a chance of their body drying out to the point of no use. But even so.

After a few people answer my response, and respond to this scenari oa bit more, I got a good one I planen up on my sleeve.

New try for membership!

So I wake up in my house to the sound of my dad eating my mom alive. I reach over and grab the nearest thing in reach, my cane (yeah, I know it is eccentric but I really do keep a cane next to my bed.

I then drop silently to the floor and try to creep out of the room, but my brother is standing in the doorway, clearly zombified. I drop him with the cane and then take out my dad.

Then I barricade all of the windows and doors on the first floor and any other ones that have easy access. The pantry is well stocked so I do not have to worry about food for a while.

Then I get the dead bodies as far away from the house as possible without raising the curiosity of the undead (no reason to keep them in the house to rot and attract other zombies).

I place guns (.22 rifle, and a pump action 20 gauge) and ammunition at the two stratigic weak spots around the house (low windows and doors) and then procced to the barn to get any other weapons I may be able to find (mainly melee).

There I get the chainsaw and machette along with some other farming implements.

After food runs out I go to the store with my guns and gather as much food as possible and load it into the car. If I see any zombies I take care of them as quickly and quietly as possible.

If there are any guns and or ammunition I will grab it.

So I basically do this for as long as the food supply is good and then move on, clearing out any house I wish to occupy before moving in and always making sure to stick to the country and a place where I can see things coming from a distance.

Valkery....

How old is your brother, and how big is he? (Weight and mass)

Would you be able to clearly kill your father with the cane? As in, a fully grown adult male?

How would you barricade the house, and with what? How fast and secure would it be? Are you planning on staying for a while or quickly depart soon after. And if so, how?

Again, bodies, how big are they, and how would you discard them?

Can you use the weapons to their full effect?

Chainsaw!?

Encampment? What of the long run? Anywhere you might have a secure safe heaven for the night?

I'm gonna respond to Comrade's scenario that was put up a few pages ago, since I really liked that one. Reminds me of a book I once read.

Naturally the first thing to do is to take out the guy with the Makarov. So boom, headshot hopefully, bodyshot otherwise. If I miss, back up, reload, try again, keeping my eye on the closest unarmed man. If the unarmed guy should get too close, I'd prefer to stab him in the chest with the bayonet, then shoot if my gun is loaded. You never know how far people can go if they're angry, so an extra bullet will definately help. After that, just pick off the guy with the hatchet if he's still a decent ways away, if he's not then run into the forest and hide, and take off my beret (Assuming it's a random color, not camoflauged), then run into a large area of bushes or into a low lying tree and hide out until I see the guy come after me, then pick him off. If he never comes, and I don't hear him, I'd try to sneak out of the forest to scout out the village, see how many are inside. If there's only a few, take them out, if there's a lot, go back to wherever I'm staying.

I really liked the setting. Small village with a forest next to it.
