This is a completely serious club, people who make a decent enough plan will be able to comment and review other plans. Here is some zombie info.

run/walk: they walk

scream/groan: they groan

day/night: All da time babey!

what they attack: EVERYTHING THEY HEAR, OR THAT MOVES!

survivors: very very little, like near 100-1000 people on EARTH

guns: This is real time, being your neighboorhood and everything, you have all the resources you have in your house.

cure: there is none.

where to go: so long as you have a plan to get their, go for it.

how much you can carry: AGAIN, THIS IS REAL TIME

family members: theres a high chance they are zombehs too.
able to join: if you didn't read, just make a good plan.

durability: they can take ALOT of damage, worse than playing last stand 2 with just a pistol for the entire game when the zombies have twice as much life.

doors: they can't work a doorhandle for the mostpart of their brain is already rotted
I am still making my plan right now, but I think some of you can do it. Let the zombie surviving begin!

Actually, offtopic is annoying, and I will be locking this to remove it all along with spam and so on if it keeps on. And I might keep it locked.

Let's take it from the top:
If you don't know how to behave in certain threads, avoid those threads. This mean, if you are unwilling to show the maturity and seriousness that is called for in a thread like this, you will be disliked from the moment you stick your head in.
Calling someone names (calling someone retarded counts to this) is borderline flaming, and flaming is against the rules. Besides that, you will seem just as immature as the person you are replying to, because you have to degenerate to name calling.
Being offtopic is fine to a limit. Usually offtopic is the small talk that still relates to the topic, but not directly. When it is unrelated in its entire length, it is just annoying to other users reading through the posts.

To recap it: Behave.
And no, as long as being stupid isn't against the rules, I can't do nothing.

And that was offtopic, but I think it sets something clear.

Okay. I am going to redo an old plan and add the ideas that Tray gave me.

I would wake up and see my brother and mother getting eaten by my dad. I would roll out of bed and grab a cane then go brain him with it (yes, I am pysically this strong). Then I would throw all the bodies in a nearby stream. The stream is about 100 yards away and runs fast for about a mile so the bodies will be a safe distance away. I would bring a bat and carry the bodies one at a time over my left shoulder. I would do this so that they would not rot and attract other zombies. then I would barricade all first floor doors and windows with large chairs and sofas. There are not to many doors and windows so that would be no problem. Then I would go and get my golf bag and fill it with weapons (a 30-30, a base ball bat with nails in it, golf clubs, and a machette). Then I would fill a duffel with water bottles and food (preferably dried or canned but any food will do). The suplies in the duffel should last for about two months if I ration them well. I would put the duffel into my truck. After that I would get in our truck witht the weapons but keep one out (30-30) and drive to a family's house that I know. There I would steal their ATV and put it in the trucks bed. They do not live near anyone so if I found them I would only have to worry about four or five zombies and I would be able to take care of them pretty easily. From there I would take back roads and even go offroad if I had to and srike out for Peche Island out in the Great Lakes. I am learning how to drive and I am pretty sure I can drive long distances without wrecking. At the docks near there I would grab the ferry and get all the passengers off the boat by saying that a choper is coming to save them and then blow up all the other boats by covering them with gas and lighting them on fire (I would make sure that the ferry had a row boat on board). I would have put the ATV on the boat and then start going to the island. Upon reaching the Island I would kill all zombies and humans that may be infected. Then I would set up base camp in one of the farm houses and gather the crops that they may have planted (if it is spring I would plant crops) Then I would erect a watchtower to keep vigil. I would also foritfy the farmhouse and surrounding grounds with a wall of spiked trees. Then I would proceed to live out my life in managable conditions by planting and harvesting and fishing the surrounding waters plus hunting the natural animals. I would also do other projects that take a lot of time and energy, like building a bunker and wearching the island for other things to do.

I may not be part of the zombie survival club but I do have a theory on zombies, when someone dies they go into rigor mortis, which explains slow movement yes?

so after 24 hours (when rigor wears off) it would be reasonable to believe that the zombies would be able to move at a faster pace, ya?Think along those lines to come up with greater scenarios, giving you 24 hours to evacuate a largely populated area.

That's a good theory, but something isn't going to come back to life from the dead. It's just physically impossible after a certain amount of time. When something "dies", it's brain is no longer functioning. If it's not functioning, then it's not making the lungs inhale, and the heart pump blood. That means that the brain isn't getting any oxygen, which means it'll deteriorate. After a few minutes the brain is so deteriorated, even if it DID start working, it couldn't do anything. It'd just be a body with a spark in it's brain.

Should something cause it to come back to life within a few minutes, so that it could still move, Rigor mortis takes 3 hours to set in, and does not leave. It's caused by a chemical change in muscle tissue caused by death, and causes the muscles to stiffen gradually. You're fully stiff in 12 hours, and the only way it leaves is with decomposition.

So to sum it up, Rigor Mortis would set in AFTER the brain is fully deteriorated (Usually will happen in an hour or two, 30 minutes in certain situations), so it wouldn't really matter. Nice thinking, though.

Friend, we DO know. It is IMPOSSIBLE. Literally. When a human cell doesn't have oxygen, it dies. If it's dead, it doesn't work. If it doesn't work, it doesn't move. If it doesn't move, you don't move. When your brain doesn't tell your lungs to inhale, your blood doesn't get oxygen. It gets stale. When your brain stops telling your heart to pump the blood, your brain doesn't get oxygen, neither does your cells. Eventually you die.

Big example people don't realise:

Should a 28 days later zombie attack you, you don't need a headshot. Shoot it in the heart. Shoot it in the lung. Cut it's leg off, cut it's jugular, cut it's aeorta, anything like that will kill it.

That being said, without blood something can't come back to life. Something that's been dead for an hour or two not only has majorly stale blood, but it also has NO BRAIN POWER to work with. It wont happen like that. The only way it could happen is with magic, which I doubt is real in the sense of necromancy.

So to sum it up:
It wont happen with undead zombies, it'll happen with 28 days later zombies, Goliath zombies, or some other kind of zombie that's actually still alive.

I am quite aware undead zombies are an improbable creation, because technically, if the hearts pumping and the brains are a working it is not undead but previously dead and brought back with limited mental capabilities, then again undead just rolls off the tongue easier

That makes sense, Koshi, but the zombie would have to be brought back to life within a few hours of dieing. If something were to "die", as in the brain stopped working, and a parisite did some kinda freaky electropulse thing in the brain to make it start working again, then yeah. That'd definately be undead, becuase the person was clinicaly dead, then suddenly came back to life. But the thing is, a parisite would take a long time to get to the brain with the blood flowing, and a lot longer without it flowing. So there would only be a handful of zombies that would be up and around. Needless to say a virus couldn't get to the brain unless through the blood. So as I said before, an outbreak or apocolipse of this kind of zombies would be impossible. Understand?

I hear talk of keeping animals but wouldn't they be food for the Zombies too.. And Honestly I think people would be pretty brutal to someone walking or crawling up to them trying to bite them..

I believe, personally, a zombie virus wouldn't effect animals if it originated in humans. A parisite would be different, though, because there are parisites in mice that get into humans and make them angry, and stupid.

Also, to everyone, you should check out the Undead Report sometime if you never have. They have some interesting news, especially the one from February about the mice > Cat > Human parisite.

And ways, hte way goliath works is by infecting the individual. The person dosn't die, just loses totall controll over there body, due to the parasite.
