This is a completely serious club, people who make a decent enough plan will be able to comment and review other plans. Here is some zombie info.

run/walk: they walk

scream/groan: they groan

day/night: All da time babey!

what they attack: EVERYTHING THEY HEAR, OR THAT MOVES!

survivors: very very little, like near 100-1000 people on EARTH

guns: This is real time, being your neighboorhood and everything, you have all the resources you have in your house.

cure: there is none.

where to go: so long as you have a plan to get their, go for it.

how much you can carry: AGAIN, THIS IS REAL TIME

family members: theres a high chance they are zombehs too.
able to join: if you didn't read, just make a good plan.

durability: they can take ALOT of damage, worse than playing last stand 2 with just a pistol for the entire game when the zombies have twice as much life.

doors: they can't work a doorhandle for the mostpart of their brain is already rotted
I am still making my plan right now, but I think some of you can do it. Let the zombie surviving begin!

Oil rigs are the most safest place to be.
Getting their is the hardest thing to do.
Note: NEVER EVER TAKE A FARRY OR LINNER. THEY CAN BE FILLED WITH ZOMBIES.
Take a boat thats fast or can be filled with food and suplies to last.

Questions: Can Pyschopaths be taken advantage of to help you kill zombies instead of you?
Are all humans forced to take sides with you?
Example: war on terrorism then *BOOM* the infection breaks out and terrorist and U.S. personel fight for their lives.

Flame would damage a zombie more than bullets would.
Cells would burn up. And even if the zombie is not destroyed the blood cells that have been "terrminated" would possible make the zombie either slower or less energetic.

A zombie's circulatory system is no longer functional. Their cells are basically dead, thus require no oxygen. They are essentially, a corpse being controlled by a virus. They need no energy, and slower isn't dead. There is no explanation as to why zombies eat living human tissue, but it is not necesary for them to "survive".

I have came up with of a plan.
Carry a small Minigun and some ammo.
Have on slice of bread and ham for breakfeast and lunch everyday till I can get to a evacuation point.
Shelter will be an empty house. Rigged traps will cover any entrance daily. When Morning arives I will head out again and only stop to use the bathroom. I will take survivors with me as long as they had no close up combat and have been hurt or injured. If I can take a vehicle it will have to be a bus or dumptruck to carry survivors and other suplies. Everyday combat would turn me into a pyshcomaniac so I will try to advoid combat with Zombies and such.
Will need to bring Gas-Masks and other Toxication suits and devices Incase we have to cross radio-active Zones.
Will have to let go some survivors for sake of the others.
Please post back soon what you think of my plan.

So tell me hellian.... Your saying if I took a zombie into a lab and drained it of all of its infected but not dead blood out of its body it would still be able to move and try to kill us....Where you learned about zombies? In a childrens books?

The blood is dead. Draining it will not make a differnece as it is no used to sustain the corpse.

.Where you learned about zombies?

The Zombie Survival Guide, among other scources.

The virus is in the blood!

But the virus also kills the host. It invades the circulatory system to gain acess to the central nervous system. Once there, the body dies. The virus then controlls the body, and the circulatory system ceases to function.

I agree to a point with Emperor_Tiberlaw.

Subjects are infected while living, correct? The bite, bloodsplash, saliva, etc. carries through the bloodstream to the brain. The brain is the part that Solanum (the virus) is looking for. It uses the cells in the frontal lobe for replication and destroys them at the same time. The heart stops, the subject "dies". However, the brain is very much alive. Solanum starts in the bloodstream, but zombies have no need for a working heart after reanimation.

If they could die by a shot to the heart, or by bleeding to death...well, the world would be a safer place to live, no?

And yet whatyou said agrees equally with what I was saying. The Solanum uses the brain to control the body. The person, however is dead. Yes the brain is aive, but alive in the same manor as a plant. It just lives. It does no more. The solanum is what causes the animation of the body.

Exactly, hellian00.

I also have a slight problem with the use of flames to kill zombies. While it is very true that fire will kill a zombie, it happens slowly. The zombie will catch fairly easily, but still move about and worse, still come at YOU.
If you're in an area that could catch fire easily, such as a field or woodline, or if your defense is wooden, you may be making things worse for yourself.
Secondly, although motlov cocktails may work and be easy to make, you must be careful to throw them without setting fire to everything around you. Flamethrowers are slow, cumbersome and fuel wasters. They should only be used in static defense.

let me just clear a few things up. When I say "infected" they have the virus (I will now call the all famous virus, Anthemia!). The virus instantly kills, and it places a growing parasite inside the body, much like R.E.4. The virus takes over most of the body's functions, and requires air to live, it lives off the dead corpse it is in. NOW, THERE ARE NO PSYCHOPATHS!!!!!!!! I am sick of seeing that word now, worry about the zombies coming in general. THere is a extremely low chance you'll find a survivor and there is a even LOWER CHANCE THAT YOU'LL FIND A PSYCHOPATH AMOUNGST THEM!!! Plus, you should be more worried about you turning into a psychopath than other people.

since thoadthetoad has added some more info I can continue with my survival info ..... This continues what I posted on Page 2

At the end of my post I was concerned with medical supplies and food ...well since I will not have to fight off other survivors ( as stated by thoadthetoad ..There is a extremely low chance you'll find a survivor for the medical supplies ....now getting them is still not with out risk ..but there are a few small towns( Downsville/Rocky Branch )around that would be easy to get in and out of. Add in the guns and hitting it during the daylight ...I would have a great chance of getting what I needed.

Now ..Food ...can goods would only get you so far ...plus I don't keep alot in the house ...so I would not have that many to begin with. You could hunt but that would be very dangerous ...the woods and swamps would be a death trap if those zombies had any numbers on you. ...so that would leave ..what ..Farming.

Yes ..this sounds like a pain ..but I would really have no choice ....the bad thing about farming would be so much would depend on the weather ..you have long period with out rain ...you could be with out food...so storage and making sure not to waste any goods would always be a focus.

On the upside ..this house I would be out does have a area that is fenced in so I would be safe to grow/plant ..but life with out any meat would be taxing LOL

Also something to note ..when I first get to this house ... I would board up the few windows in the house ..and later reinforce them by wielding everything down. ..its just something I did not state before.
