This is a completely serious club, people who make a decent enough plan will be able to comment and review other plans. Here is some zombie info.

run/walk: they walk

scream/groan: they groan

day/night: All da time babey!

what they attack: EVERYTHING THEY HEAR, OR THAT MOVES!

survivors: very very little, like near 100-1000 people on EARTH

guns: This is real time, being your neighboorhood and everything, you have all the resources you have in your house.

cure: there is none.

where to go: so long as you have a plan to get their, go for it.

how much you can carry: AGAIN, THIS IS REAL TIME

family members: theres a high chance they are zombehs too.
able to join: if you didn't read, just make a good plan.

durability: they can take ALOT of damage, worse than playing last stand 2 with just a pistol for the entire game when the zombies have twice as much life.

doors: they can't work a doorhandle for the mostpart of their brain is already rotted
I am still making my plan right now, but I think some of you can do it. Let the zombie surviving begin!

I read page 4 and saw a question. Skater_kid_who_pwns_, the zombies might attack each other if there is a small piece of meat (ex. a steak like in my plan). This club really has NOTHING to do with the Zombie Survival guide. I never even knew it existed. This also has NOTHING to do with the Quiz thing, I didn't even know it existed.

@thoadthetoad: you should read the Zombie Survival Guide if youre a zombie lover. Its a bloody good read.

Questions:
-how are your zombies affected by water, particularly saltwater?
-How aware of the characteristics of these zombies are the public? (have we been informed at all about the crisis and the nature of the creatures?)
-Is the parasite removeable at all, or is it a virus with parasitic qualities?
-Does decapitation kill the zombies, or is this parasite able to utilize what is left of a host?
-What are the senses they use? Rate 1-10. (Sight, hearing, smell, etc.)

Dont think I am grilling you at all, but I think a lot of people posting are used to the Solanum zombie and its characteristics. I think its a good thing to think outside of the George Romero model.

Question: If a zombie has no teeth and no hands would not count as a threat? Or would it still be dangerous.

The blood is dead. Draining it will not make a differnece as it is no used to sustain the corpse.

Thats how the Infection spreads when a zombie bites the blood of the zombie transfer into the victem turning them into a zombie! If it had completly no blood it would be as harmless as a garden snake.

Im not so sure that they would be intrested in meat.
Maybe an sacrafice but not meat. I'd do it with a deer. But it would be hard to catch one so I would improvise. It would be pretty lame if a nazi soilder came from the grave and was a zombie. Just randomly saying.

. . .emperor_timberlaw, stop making jokes/random things. Anyways, dropping meat won't be so good because the zombie senses are boosted to an EXTREME by the Anthemia virus. The zombies would smell the meat, and go for the bigger prize (you).

Exactly what I said. But would they go for a alive deer? (Bigger than me.)

AND THE NAME IS Emperor_Tiberlaw!!
Then I guess zombies are predicatble.

They would. Anyway, the deer would easily run away and wouldn't be harmed whatsoever.

I think we can all agree that the zombies would go after anything that lives. Cats, dogs, racoons, possum, birds, elk, moose, sheep, squirrels, goats, chickens, pigs, cows, horses, peacoks, owls, bears, elephants, DEER, quail, ducks, etc. etc. etc.

The problem with using animals as bait is....WHY?

Why on the bloody earth would you try to attract attention to yourself? The only reason I could see using bait is to clear an area for a group. These zombies, as thoadthetoad pointed out, are very acutely aware of the presence of living things. You are taking a huge risk carrying meat on you, setting traps where they would congregate and swarm, or even hunting game. If there are 99.8% zombies and only .2% survivors, the chances of distracting any swarm for a reasonable length of time is quite slim.

I think survival requires a group effort. Distributing supplies between members and packing light. Stealth on the move and a good defensive position when not moving. I think meat traps are too risky for a solitary survivor.
