(the list of weapons is here for my refrence) 3 22. pistols, a shotgun, a carbine, an emergency flare, and a katana.
it was dark now, the rest of my group sleeping. It was around a year after the outbreak, anyone alive now would be very lucky to be alive. There were 6 of us in the group, Me, Andy, Max, Alexa, And our newest...Michael. Andy was the first person i came across...well actually he came across me, allmost shot me in my sleep untill I woke up. he used to be a forest ranger, he had blue eyes a boyish face, and close chop blonde hair. Max had come next. Me and Andy stumbled across him nd the corpses of his frineds in a library, with a broken arm. He had brown eyes, with brown hair down to his eyes in the front, and his neck on the back and sides. Then came Alexa, our little princess of sorts. We found her in an abondened house, she had come from a rich family with long blonde hair, and was dressed i ndesigner clothes. Now, we found michale. We had only found him a short while ago in a wallmart the door was welded shut with scrap metall, but when he heard real voices he came over and let us in when he saw we were normal. I was now going over that last message on the radio, a father and son, and the dad was in danger. I rolled over,and shoved the sheated kantana into my belt loop, grabed a .22 with about 50 bullets and woke up the rest of the group. Andy took a shotgun and a .22 while max took the other. Michale took the carbine. Alexa took a lighter and a flaer just in case. We never let her fight, her good spirits were need to keep as alive and we couldn't risk her life.
"greg, look I told you he's dead by now!"
"Hrm....and what if there not? Look, if you dont wanna come, you can stay here and hope no zombies find you! There isn't no steel door to keep them off here now is there? Andy Max and Alexa are comeing with me and thats all I need!" I was yeeling, I was one of the youngest but i was in comand here, andy was the power and the reason, I was the adventures soul that made fast decisons. Michale just looked at the ground and kicked at the dirt. "Good, now Andy, what's the quickest route?" I questioned.
"ot the quickest, the safest. Your awnser is here." Andy had taken out a map and was pointing at a row of houses streching across the city to the park, they were connected for the most part and would make travel from roof to roof quick and easy. Max and alexa were standing away from the group, and i saw max slip alexa a sling shot with a few spiked wooden balls he had obviously made himself.
"Allright, come on" i said as I started the shortwalk that would take around an hour due to defensive precosions. The trip was sighlent, other then Andy pointing the safest route out here and there. Then there it was, The park. There were zombies like you wouldnt imagine, all over the place, searching for the prey that by the looks of it were in a house built on the side of 3 trees, and a statue. No bigger then one room in a normal house. it was suspended with a walkway that ended up on a nearby roof top. "Andy, you go first. if there are that type of zombie, they will die from the shotgun." So he took the lead. i told alexa to stay behind with michale and max and take out some of the zombies below in the park while we got anyone alive from the shack. The path was rickady, and threatened to fall, even though it never did. "Ok, on the count of three I'm gonna open the door" i said. "when I do, hold your ground and wait till they say something. If they repeat the same thing tiwce, waste them." He only nodded in response, and we stated to hear the gun shots of mak and Michael from the roof. "One......two.....three!" i threw the door open, and was suprised to see a boy lying in ropes i na corner and a man, leaning against the wall. The son was repeating something to his dad, but his dead keeped refusing to help his (demon son). He walked over to use and told use what was going on and how his son had tryed to attack him.
"Sir, we are gonna have to kill your son i'm afraid." i said. "What!?! You monster..no! I won't let you!" he put his body in the way of his son. Andy, carry him up to the roof, i will deal with the kid. Once Andy had him clear of the room, i unsheathed the machete, and stabbed it trough him in a effert to safe ammo. I turned to see andy hanging from one hand off the path, and the man running toward me with a hammer. "Kill my son will you? Now I will kill you!" He swung at me with the hammer, but i ducked and swung around wih the kantana killing him. i ran ahead to help up Andy. "You ok?" I questioned him wondering how he got on the edge like that. "fine, perfectly fine" he muttered. Now lets gt out of here.
