If you watched the movie, you will notice that if they make a squeal, it will be almost impossible to make it more poetic. The Joker was not just killing with a gun. He uses knives to make it more interesting. Seriously, their is no one watching someone dying with a gun. Also, his Social Project was flawed. Obviously if you give only one trigger, you'll look like the villain! If he gave them all a trigger, someone would have blowed up the other ship. Other than that, pure poetic genius.

dude its the absolute best movie of my life!!!!!!!! When the joker tried to blow up the hospita, priceless...and the best part is that nobody noticed that he was trying to either..or what the joker did with the hostages at the end of the movie, that was pure genious! Basically the joker is a very intelligent yet psychotic criminal!

I saw it. And I loved it. But, I saw it on the first day and it was sold out. I even saw my math teacher there.

I like how once Batman got rid of Scarecrow, two more villains took his place. I wonder which villains will be in the next one. I hope they don't get Arnold for Mr. Freeze, that would suck.

They will only pick realistic villains. Joker is realistic and whatever the first villain's clan name was is realistic. Probably Riddler.

They had really set things up to bring back the Joker for the third one, but with Heath Ledger dead this should not even be a consideration. He did a phenomenal job as the Joker and trying to have anyone else emulate that would just be hokey.
I honestly wouldn't mind if they just ended it. The monologue that the Joker gave at the end really sort of sums up the rest of Batman's life. This most recent series has done an excellent job of portraying believable criminals in a very dark and disturbing setting, just like the comic book intended. If they can pull out the third movie without the Joker, then that would be great, but I don't want the series to fizzle out like so many do.

I agree with Moe, it think that it would be absurd to try and bring back the joker if they do have a 3rd movie. Heath Ledger just did an amazing job. But I think that if they do make another, the next villain should be the Riddler.

I can't wait! I am going to go see this movie again in IMAX!

they signed christian bale up for 3 movies so there will be another one. god that was an amazing movie, one pure dose of awesome. the joker is the best villain EVER. no one compares. next they will probably do The Riddler or Penguin. any other ideas? catwoman would ruin it

My favorite part is the scene in the prison and interrogation room, where the Joker owns everyone in the room who tries to interrogate him.

The riddler would be good, as long as they didn't get Jim Cerry again. Poison Ivy would be good. Actress Ideas anyone?

Maybe they'll bring in Robin, but that would probably ruin it.
