An even better idea would be to go into word, under insert click symbols, double click a symbol you want then copy and paste into your about. It comes up weird on forums
I think that the whole point of this topic was that the original poster was asking why these symbols keep popping up around the site.
These usually occur when a symbol is entered into the AG forums and it is not a common character. Then, either a black and white question mark or a A symbol is added.
It is common for this too happen when you copy and paste from another website.
