I have been noticing a lot of poetry on the site recently, and I thought it would be nice to have a friendly little poetry competition. There will be a weekly theme, and the entries will be judged by one of the moderators or administrators. This week's theme will be "Water." The deadline is Saturday, August 2nd. The winner will be awarded 25 Armor Points.
I actually wrote this into a song, but music is poetry!
Find me sitting in the corner, I find you with another man. Nothing new to me, just a bit foreigner. I knew you were holding back, in the dead of night. Thoughts running through your mind, but this is something you thought you could fight.
Jealousy running through my mind, one thought I try to grind, out........... Fight the tears, keep back the rage, something I can only keep in a cage. Going red...red...red... AHHHHHH keep it back!
It floats to my head, making me feel it's envious rage, as I sit back and try not to go red. I look around at everything you had, everything I wanted, I just couldn't get it that it made you sad, That I was always mad. I didn't know that it made you feel bad, That I was continuously harassing you, For all the darn things I could do. Now as I feel the jealousy retreating, I realize, that it was jealously, that made me finalize, My decision, to hate you and now like an incision, I feel it all going in reverse, as I see you with that awesome new purse.
I made that up as I went, I hope you like it. Ending was a bit weird though...

I try not to think of what i have seen. Even though I know it is true I try not to beileve. Every time I see them together I quickly look away. But every single day its like there stalking me.

Every where I go I see this special girl. When she talks to me its sends my mind into a whirl. Even though shell never love me I always hope she will. She's going out with my best freind and he doesnt know I like her. I try to be calm when im around her. But when I try to talk I always seem to stutter.

Actually, this week it has been relly popular, moreso than the last (probably because of the stranger topics) and quite a few people have submitted each week! No need to be a downer, you should submit again ) Maybe one of these weeks I'll write something too... I'm usually too busy )
