Hahaha Shark, that was a great twist! I hope my husband never thinks that of me...

I'm no poet so I don't think I could really put in anything good for this topic,especially since I don't really get jealous all too much.

@Shark7996,I also liked that one.I grow up in a family that is really into the arts(music,writing,poetry,etc.)and that was pretty good to me.

hmmm....here's mine...made up on the spot...related to how I am feeling right now...

Jealousy

The girl I love,
Walks right past me.
Not looking at anyone.
Except my bestie.

She said she loved me,
and said it was true.
But then she dumped me,
And split my heart in two.

And now there she is,
sitting on your lap.
Staring into your eyes,
And looking for a map.

And what can I do,
As I sit here watching from afar.
Watching you and her flirt together,
And you giving her a gold star.

How can I cope,
When you hold her hand.
When that used to be my job,
Just a week beforehand.

So why did she pick you?
What's wrong with me?
Why are you better?
What does she see?

And so I guess I'm jealous,
Of you stealing my girl.
And now you two will stay together,
You stole my beautiful pearl.

Yep...thats how I feel...absolutely sad...and betrayed....

Ah, a weekly poetry contest? I'm very glad someone told me about this. I love poetry.

Hmm. I was hoping I could whip up a quick poem for this topic but as of now I have writer's block.

Mist

Though through the mist I can hardly see,
I see some shapes, two in front of me.
One is hers, the other I don't know.
Now I see her friend beside her clear
My mind sees them standing toe to toe,
Because my heart is still wracked with fear.
