Yes I support the War in Afghanistan (NOT Iraq). But the way that it's been going lately is bad. The Taliban are on the rise again, and al-Qaeda is switching its focus from Iraq to Afghanistan. There are not enough US troops there to stop the Taliban.

Well first of all it's not just America fighting the war and the taliban and al-qaeda need stopping. They may get the idea that they cab do what they want if no one attempts to prevent them from what they are doing.

Nuking them won't really help as they aren't in control of the country to surrender but rather are fighting a gorilla war.

i do.. the reasons we started the war may have been wrong.. but going to war to increase our peace of mind/quality of life for others is a decent enough reason.. you can complain about the soldiers. this sounds rude and offensive, they joined for action, to get college paid for, or an easy right, whatever the reason, they get paid and if they arent deployed what are they being used for..

we are in the war because the US is the World Police..

those who have the ability/power also have the responsibility to do something about it... (this has been passed from super-hero movie to super-hero movie)..

FishermanJE if we nuke them it will only solve the terrorists problem in that country but think of the people that aren't involved in terrorism

How will nuking a place where most people live in huts or very small houses solve anything? Nuking Hiroshima and Nagasaki crippled the Japanese due to the fact that those cities were so crucial to the empire. Destroying Kabul (the biggest city in Afghanistan) would do little to hurt the Taliban.

Well they got the biggest power on the entire planet and they can do what ever they like killing people - no president of America will go to jail for killing people

America attacks small countries that are powerless to defend their self's I mean you don't see them attacking Russia or China

HAH! Sorry buddy, urr cool, but America attacks Afganistan which is a sit country and like most middle easterns has probably supplied by the russians already. America doesnt attack russia because they havent done anything yet except for being freaks and making missiles.
Besides, i dont think iraq was helpless because they had russian weapons and were taking oil fields. Unless oil is comepletely worthless which it is most definetely not......
Or vietnam, because they destroyed the french, although im not suprissed, and ait took ten years until a truce was finally made. And that was just northern vietnam. Think if south wasnt buddist.

That just about sums it up for me, too.
