Bungie has said that they may not make another installment of the FPS Series: Halo: Combat Evolved. Though, with this sad news, Halo Wars is coming out... And, Halo 3 is still an active project; with more and more add ons coming out !
They making another one, but not called Halo, starts with Re, but I forget the name, the name of some some running competion, any way it is not made by either bungie or microsft, just one, they were gonna make it after Normal Halo, but it did so well they made 2 and 3.
They'll be back to make a 4th halo when they're wallet's get hungry.

Nope, I highly doubt there will be Halo 4. It just doesn't seem like it would fit with how the series is going, the storyline ended well, there was no real reason to make number 4. Also, lots of seriesand at a trilogy, that's the most common about of entries in the series, whether its books, or DVDs or games or whatever.
sadly it is the last im almost 99% sure and halo wars is not halo 4 or even made by bungie and plus i think bungie is trying to make new games as well just as good as the hgalo series
I don't really think Halo is that great of a game, actually. I mean, it's just a First Person Shooter, they didn't introduce any new stuff into the gameplay. Sure, they added theatre and forge, but those are tools for machinima, and maybe a quarter of one percent of the Halo 3 players make machinima. Of that, maybe a qyarter of them make ones that actually get enough views on whatever site they post them to be recognized.
