The Hobbit is supposed to be released in 2010, but the date may change.

I heard Peter Jackson wasn't going to direct it. Does anyone know that for sure or is it still to early to know?

ya 2010 was the date they said but it will most likly change to 2011 probobly

Wow the hobbit was good book. My english teacher is a freak for LOTR and we took half the year to read it in class cuz she wanted to analyze every paragraph!

They should make the movie, it would be awesome to see Smaug out flying around destroying the town of Dale. Also with the goblins fighting the men and elves would be pretty good
