i was born in a country named Argentina in south america and i think that in my country we can call us americans because we live ina the continent name AMERICA.
Both North and South America are called the Americas Americas inhabitants = Americans North America = North Americans USA = whatever state your living in e.x californian, kansan because its the United States of both continents America other countries...whatever it usually is like columbian or canadian
I'm not gonna call myself myself a North American, under any circumstances. Sure, it may be a technicality or something, whatever, but that's just it, if I gotta take a choice of two titles, I'm sticking with Canadian.
Ha, this is the most interesting Forum, yet. All these people arguing over the simple truth! America is a Country. End of discussion. There is no arguing with it. The continents may be recognized as North America and South America. But the Country; The United States of America, named itself after the Northern continent in which they settled! Soon, thereafter, the U.S.A became known widely as America, or as The Americas. That's the simple truth!
