I love people that freak out when you say fuck on forums. I mean you can't even say it all it posts is a bunch of asterisks. Either A: you've never heard the word and me saying fuck doesn't affect you in any way because you don't know the definition or B: you have heard the word before and me saying it doesn't affect you because you've already heard the word I'm not popping your virgin ears or anything. It's ludicrious in my opinions.
Sure there are times when you shouldn't go spouting off curse words, I try not to say when little children are around, or in professional settings, but if it's me and a couple of buddies at a bar I'm going to use whatever god damned laguage I want. It's America and we're free.
I personally love the F word. It is a great addition to the english language. But what i love best its versatility. It can be used in almost any situation to describe almost anything. i will say that there is a time and a place to say it, but in my opinion it is easily the best all round swear word.

The only reason this word is considered bad is because people give it such a negative connotation. If they did not make such a big deal about it, the word would lose its 'ower'.
I don't understand how anybody can find offense in words. They are just sounds, and if you put a negative spin on it, then it's your own fault for being offended.
Well it depends in what context in which the words are used. I disagree with this completely. What about things such as racial abuse, or political speeches. Words have a huge effect on everything.

I doubt you get it over in America but we have a show called Red Dwarf that to get round the sensors "invented" a the word smeg as a replacement. Now its an appropriate replacement for any swear word even though it means just as much as any other word! Society decides what is normal, allowed and not allowed and for some reason we have a list of words that are deemed unaccepted. We just have to live with it I guess.
