To which version of "god" do you refer? To which version of "heaven" do you refer? Specifics please.
I would love to believe that some god would be caring to people who knew nothing of the "correct" religion while they were on Earth, and just take them if they did what was right, and had as good of a life as possible, but I can't say that. That's why I hold questions like that off until I die.
I no its not what you ment but i wont go to heaven just because i returned a 500$ bill to its rightful owner, however i do believe a person who inside has a sense of justice and simply feels bad when he/she witnesses bad things happen do deserve to go to heaven. Thats just my opinion, nobody can tell for sure if heaven actually exists (although im a catholic and i do believe in it) or what you need to do to get to heaven.
I like being an atheist because it's a testable hypothesis. If I die and go to hell or whatever then I'll know I was wrong (not likely). But if a person of faith dies and then simply ceases to exist they never figure out that they were wrong! By the way, there's a really entertaining and very short book by C.S. Lewis on his little ideas about heaven and hell. It's great, if you can get past all the C.S. Lewisness.

all you have to do i beleive, is give up things for your self for the less fortunate, follow god, and tell people of god, whether it be preaching, or just telling people to come to the church feed on sunday, all you have to do is follow those simple rules to get into heaven.
no the question is does god/heaven exist? the answer is no. no supporting evidence, we dont need a god, everything can be explained through science. and the things we dont know yet you people just say "god did it" i fucking hate all of you theists
