There it is the big question. I mean the only females he's close to is Mrs. Puff and Sandy. And he would rather get a little to friendly with Patrick and Squidward.
its just a stupid concept. it is weird that he does hang around Patrick too much and it may inspire children a little more. i mean he acts like these kind of people and small children sometimes do whatever they see on tv. so doesnt that make it bad for them?? but taking it too serious by saying that he is this or saying that he is cool, thats kinda weird. just let the kids watch their shows and dont make such a fuss about it.
