Theres a disease that you can get from wading in ponds bare-foot. A worm stabs a tiny hole in the bottom of your foot, and then crawls in. About a month later, a 3 foot long worm bursts out the victims stomach. This is the scariest thing in the world, as you never know you have it until it begins eating you intestines.

Yeah, it's totally true, its probably the most lethal parasite in the world. The thing is, the worm dies soon after being exposed.
