I am an anime person. But Hunter X Hunter was great. Not sure of any other of my animes I watched but the best is Gungrave, Trigun also rocked hardcore.
I'm moving this to the...oh wait, there's no...hm, okay, I'm going to have to talk to Carlie about that! But in the meantime, carry on!
Hunter X Hunter appears to have been suspended three times now- and the "chimera ants" arc is taking WAY TOO LONG. I suspect that's one of the reasons the artist is taking so many breaks: he's coalesced about 150 chapters of buildup into one tiny focal point and it's like trying to pack a house into a briefcase. The whole digital counter thing and the emphasis on a chapter accounting for like 12 seconds is a case in point.
I think the artist out-epic'd himself, lol.
The Trigun manga is far better than the anime. The anime was kinda drawn out and mellow. The manga was short, very dark and so punchy it ripped a hole through my guts.
My current favorite is...I really don't know if I should post the name here...Hentai Kamen. It is not a hentai title, but it is seriously so wrong it can't go wrong.
okay lets see bleach, D-Gray Man, Death Note, Yu-Yu-Hakusho, Youtsuba&!, Hikaru No go, Naruto (Maybe), Neon Genesis Evangelion, Neon Genesis Evangelion Angelic Days, School Rumble
Strop... you have reached a new level of geekiness that I have never seen before... ever... I went ahead and nominated you for the biggest geek in the universe award which is coming out in November. The grand prize is some asinine collectible thingy that I'm sure you'll thoroughly enjoy even though no one will understand why. Good Luck
Naruto = Kids, However if you watch the Japanese version of it, it's better. but still for kids.
Bleach = Legend. It has extreme action scenes, it gets very hilarious at times, of course its PG-13 rated (sort of) but when the Climax of each season comes, it gets completely epic and teaches you life lessons that you should adhere to. There are times when I want to read through what they are teaching you over and over again.
Then there's the part about the story. At first you think one faction is evil, then when you go deeper into the story, you find that there is some good within that faction and find out that there is an even greater evil faction that is trying to rip the world apart. If you haven't watched Bleach yet, I recommend you to watch it. If you are an anime fan who loves action/comedies, you would love this series.
Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, though it is rather confusing at the moment. Neon Genesis Evangelion, though it still lack an ending. .hack//Legendofthetwilight, though the anime .hack//sign is better.
I am currently reading the number 1 rated manga of all time that is from Japan, it is Slam Dunk and it is epic, but only the first volume has come out in America. It is really rated the number 1 in Japan, I am not just trying to say that it's good.
