I got a question. Where did the cloverfield monster come from and did it die in the movie or is it still alive? Also is there going to be a Cloverfield 2?
I thought it was a decent movie. It was cool how they shot it from a regualr video-camera, but I hated the caeram guy. He wouldn't shut the h3ll up. I was so happy when the monster ate him.
Cloverfield rocks. I really like what Abrams did with it. Also did the viral website scare the crap out of you with its random roars? ( i forgot about it in the background one night)
Well, it's a theory that the monster was in the sea. I do admit the GROWTH SYRUM thing is a bit far-fetched, it belongs in a b-movie ^^. But anyways, if it was in a crevice of the new york bay, dont'ya think that it would have to be able to sustain severe amounts of pressure? I do agree that piecing it is kinda blugh, but it's like trying to take down a collusus (game: shadow of the collusus, check it out!) with a sword in a NON weak spot (you practically can't).
your insane, the camera guy was a riot, without him, it would have been pointless. honestly, if they make another cloverfield, it'll just ruin the legace, sequels are never good, except for The Dark Knight, only good sequel ever made.. Besides J.J has no time to make another cloverfield, hes making a Star Trek movie.
the camera was terrible, the storyline wasnt a real storyline and the ending was stupid, i understand they were goin for the cliffhanger effetct, but really? a missle who thought of that? The whole movie needed more structure and directing. The best part was the flaming homeless people line, which is kinda sad
The shaky camera was supposed to make you sick in my opinion and if it didnt have a sappy love story then then the people would have escaped. Woop dee doo they got away.
Monster lived secret message at end of movie and in the last video recording when it shows the people on the ferris wheel zoom in and slow it down and look at the upperright corner. When you see it everything makes sense. also helps to read book!! (bet you didn't know that one!?)
