Guy who is dying from cancer because he smokes or the geneticly alterd super soldier with shields and a one ton suit of amor,thats a hard choice.

Snake would probably need a Stinger to take Chief down, that's the only way he'd win the fight in my opinion. Because as far as durability and strength goes Chief's the winner.

Theres no competition, Master Chief is a genetically modified super soldier, while Snake is just a normal person.

Well as far as I know about solid(which is little), I think the Chief takes this one. I mean common, the guy has impenetrable armor and took steroids...

There are always these sort of lame threads with heroes vs heroes. Most of the time, it's no duh, like, Superman vs Batman. The Master Chief is an elite warrior, the same as Solid Snake, except the Master Chief has shields, armor, is a cyborg, and better weapons. It's like saying, "Who would win, a styrofoam peanut or a sledge hammer"

Solid Snake, the clone of Naked Snake, walked down the dark Shadow Moses hallway. He heard a rumbling in the walls. Ring Ring!
"Snake, watch out. There is a super soldier named Master Chief nearing your position."
"Fine." He continued down the hallway. He reaches the end and encounters a key-code access door. He has no key. As he turns around the wall to his left explodes. Master Chief bursts through the hole.
Snake rolls backwards and as he brings up his gun he examines his enemy. He fires his M4 Custom. The bullets find their mark. Master Chief is unscathed. Master Chief has his sword thing (I don't know halo)ready and cuts Snake. His octocamo cuts like butter and he almost dies.
Snake recovers himself and grabs two fragmentation grenades in both hands and pulls the pins out. Boom! Both die.
The battle could go anyway.

you people realize master chief (and every spartan from the spartan projects 2 and 3) is designed to be a super soldier to fight Elites wich are 3x as beter as any soldier on the planet, and snake is just a spec ops with no armor and a traq gun right up until the last level on a game. In any words chief wins even before they even fight.
