First, I will post the overall rules, and then I will post the specifics about this week.
Original rules, as stated by Ubertuna:
It must fit the week's theme.
It must be submitted by the deadline.
It cannot have inappropriate language in it.
It cannot be stolen (if you plagiarize, we will find you).
Also:
The poem must be created for this contest
A user cannot win two weeks in a row (though everyone is welcome to submit every week!)
Only one submission per user will be accepted
As we all know, the winner will recieve a merit, and their poem will be featured on the _Poetry_ page.
OK, on to this week's topic...Again, we are having a style instead of a theme. Also, this week we are having TWO WEEKS to do it, instead of the usual one. Why? Because this will be an EPIC poem. Or, rather, a parody of an epic poem. Generally, epic poetry is very long, and tells the serious story of a heroic figure. Well, this week, the epic figure is YOU! Write a long poem (I'll leave the definition of 'long' up to you, but give it a good go) about the heroic story of you! It can be silly, serious, whatever... just have fun with it. You have two weeks, so have a great time!

so, how is my poem? It's one of my first, and its my first time entering in a contest. I also noticed that its a weekly thing and this topic was started a week ago.
Ok, sorry I haven't been able to get around to this, but I just got a chance to log on for long enough to do anything but check my wall. Time for my to kick back and read these refreshing entries I'll be posting the results within the hour.
Well, there were a few very interesting entries this week, including some non-rhyming poems First off, I'd like to thank everybody that participated. I got many a laugh out of your entries. Now, on to the judging. Gantic has once again amazed us with his poetic talents, and I found his entry the funniest and best thought out. Since you won last week, I am going to give you the honorable mention this week. Congrats!
Honorable Mention: Gantic - It's Time To Guess Whoses
Reds and greens he may confuses,
And him this theme will sure bemuses.
His name is clear as 'tuna chooses,
Even if he should refuses.
He lives down with the kangarooses,
And with the joeys takes his snoozes.
Modern English he most abuses,
From his poem -eth does oozes.
The bogan word he most misuses
Against the Strop as he accuses
And made a war that sure ensueses,
But this war had much defuses.
When I read the recent newses,
As in this forum I had peruses,
I missed his name in my last muses;
Now my props to him are dueses.
Even if he plays the blueses,
Displays some nasty blackened bruises
From the words we poets uses,
Him we'd still see right throughses.
Though from this theme he might recuses;
Though he succeeds most in his viewses;
Though he'd likely make excuses;
With this new theme he surely loses.
I am going to award the first place prize to the poem that made me laugh the hardest, and that honor goes to deth4. Congrats!

tell you a poem about a bogan
who is always had his head to be a pirate
Now he there staring at his Computer
Planning to make another mistake
He failed on almost everything that what he does
He got dishonoroble mentions on the artwork thread
He failed to be the king of all bogans
That is why ubertuna made him as theme for this thread
He wants to be a bogan king
Zophia made him a bogan queen
Strop has all of his powers over him
But his stick animations he can always win.
Well that is the story of a little bogan
His name i tell you, He is kingryan
He had a youtube if you want to watch silly pirates
Well what would we lost, It is an epic failness.

Zophia, Zophia, come hither,
the time has come for you.
To accept moderator duties,
deleting spam from Sonny 2.
Born among the furries,
in la la land.
Drawing cute little creatures,
only done by hand.
Of course Zophia cheats,
and uses photoshop.
Adding blurry effects,
oh no, she needs to crop!
So now she's called the n00b,
among her mod friends.
She hides her rage inside,
behind her convex lense.
Ode to you, dear Zoph,
I expect good from you.
Fighting the lowly spammers,
so without further adieu.....

Technically ubertuna can enter too, he just can't win. It's pretty much the same as in all other competitions, whoever judges can't win, everyone else is free to try.

I have definitely had too many skittles to be serious today.
I Like to call this,
Ode to how cool zophia is.
Oh Zophia your so super coolio
I am amazed by your armatar
So green and.....green it still amazes me
Zophia The Great! now charging into battle
Spam proof weapon and shield in hand
Spammers now running all across the land
Hiding in every nook and cranny
But no, This does not stop Zophia the great
Now she charges into the spam castle
Spam left and right, So Zophia begins to fight late into the night
Zophia finally reaches the spam leaders throne
With her many skills left to hone
She states one thing, I AM QUEEN!
As Zophia walks into the night
Crickets chirping, owls on the hunt
She wipes her forehead and says
All In a Day's work, and disappears into the distance.
I know it really sucks lol, poetry isn't my thing but I just had to post.
So Zophia begins to fight late into the nightJust felt like responding to that. It's almost 5 AM here now. XD

~Zoph My Hero~
Wraphia twirled in the air,
Zooming past Zophiaâs stare.
Translucent as a falling snowflake,
As shiny as a tiny pebble,
A tiny soldier and a rebel.
That little piece of string that spun,
Caught eyes of Gamers old and young.
It caused a ruckus in the Tavern
And other threads with much confusion.
But Zoph stood there without delusion.
Zophia snapped at the piece of string,
And blew it at Ryan the King.
King Ryan stumbled backwards,
Landing in a pile of spam;
Zophia ate it up like ham.
Ryan was vulgar none the less,
Denying Zophieâs heroic jest.
The AG gamers cheered her name;
Zophia the great, Zophia the dame.
