Why ? -Better graphics (While 360 graphics are also good) -New games will be on PS3 -Maybe 360 is cheaper but this is what I say about that: If 360 costs 100 dollars,It's only 100$ worth, the ps3 may cost 500 dollas, that's what ps3 is worth.
The technology used for 360 is older and cheaper then PS3 so you can't say ps3 is more expensive then 360
try not too look at it in a "im so great i think xbox is better becourse i was to dump to admit i should have waited". im NOT saying that what everyone means(so its prolly not pointed at you) but look at the reviewers side of it. the developers of the xbox know that there was need for comunity sites etc since they got the exepience, thats a plus on it. the ps3 is great in the way of tecnology as yaleslot said. but theres lack of online interest other than in the games, but thats being sorted out... but i like the ps3. its is easyer to use, it got a lot of possiblitys and the ability to got 1080P(gogo sony bravia tv!)
the ps3 has exactly the same problem about price is the ps2. when the ps3 drop below 2000dkr(or 200 pounds) its becomes really popular

Assassins creed is also on 360. 360 has fable 2 (awesome), Dead Rising, Halo 3,The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Bioshock, Gears of War, Ninja gaiden and a lot more. It has good online and multiplayer too and is cheaper then the PS3.
