O, i was watching this lady next to mrs.Bush speak and she said "Let's take off our replubican hats,and, put on our american hats." Dude, i give better speaches and im only 13!
Yeah it makes sense, stupid in some ways, and stings in others.
It kind of smacks us conservatives in the face a little.......a lot.
But what she said is the opposite because us conservative want to work back towards what the founding fathers wanted and go back to what it was like back then, where as those democrats want to edit/rewrite the constitution and lean towards then eventually go to socialism AKA COMMUNISM.
Of course it makes sense. It simply means, stop being part of a separate party for a moment and just be an American. Not sure why that's a bad sentiment.
I have heard that at least 10 times within the last couple of days, they couldn't think of a way to rephrase it? It's like everyone was saying the same thing McCain said.
Wasn't she just stating that people should think of whats best for all Americans and not just Republicans? I have not been keeping up to date with politics so I don't know what else she said and what she is exactly refering to but I think everyone is making more out of this than what there realy is.

I was just wondering as to why he thought democrats would lean toward to socialism o.O We had plenty of democrats before and nothing of that matter has occurred.
