I just want to know what gamers think of this. Can people eventually evolve and may even acquire super powers in the future? Our current status as Homo sapiens is not the last stop of human evolution, is it?
Think about it,people lose brain cells (get dumber) from not prgressing and eventually FORGETTING what theyve leraned.not physical features,height,speed etc.,but meantal internal features,like maybe a slower heart rate (more heart attacks) and a worse immune system.
All of these factors, however, are contingent upon the two driving forces of evolution: mutation and natural selection. Someone has to be born with decreased mental capacity and spread that gene through a great deal of procreation. One of the problems with a "high social structure" group like humans is that we have acutely developed senses of what is attractive that tend to change with time. We also tend to have monogamous relationships, so a particular gene is not very likely to spread that easily.
