9/11 is coming up and I want to know how many people actually think about it or get sad about it when it comes up. Personally, I don't, and just because I said I don't doesn't mean I am some terrorist guy or anything I just usually don't think about it.
P.S. Has anyone ever noticed 9/11 is just like 911 the # 4 the police?
i ALWAYS remember 9/11 and think about the lives and such... whenever i see 9:11 on a clock i also think about 9/11 but for some reason i dont think about it when i hear 911 cause there is no slash or dots... i just think this was a devastating event that took place

Maybe because you think of the emergency number? And I'd say we'd hear this in our lives (outside the internet), which requires us to react fast. So no time for thinking ^^
No way its about the slash and dots, since again, in real life, 9/11, 9:11 and 911 sound the same.
9/11 we say nine eleven not nine slash eleven so anybody can get mixed up by just removing the slash but saying nine one one makes all the difference probably...
and the fact that it is an emergency # aqlso makes the difference

the thing is the people in the towers didnt' give their lives to keep us safe, aside from the emergency responders. The people working in the towers were just at the wrong place at the wrong time. I feel sorry for them, and I wish it didn't happen, but I'm not going to say that the people working in the towers are all patriots who died for America because that would be false. You should be careful to keep you emotions from getting in the way of your mind.
Ya they might not all be patriots and that has nothing to do with what happened. However, they did die trying to save other people, which is a noble cause and we should shown respect to them.

It does make me sad, but I don't get too emotional. I just shake my head, and that's it. I don't cry or anything. I didn't get sad that day, either. Don't get me wrong, 9/11 was a terrible day! But, I just don't feel very bad about it.

I understand... thats true and all. But then theres the farmer out in B.C. and the guy out in Ontario. If you wanna here those stories, I'd gladly tell you. The farmer out in B.C im pretty sure affected alot of Canada and alot of ppl out in the U.S. Im just saying that there is alot of nasty stories out there that are more gruesome than the 9/11attack. They might not have been so severe. But lets stop living in the past, and keep moving on. I mean, look at Africa. Kids die every three second. Thats way way way more kids that die in a single day then on Sep 11.... Anyways... u want me to tell you those stories?
