This is a spin-off of the original GFX Art Battle, but with some updated rules and changes. Please make sure to read the rules before entering, since they have been modified. Good luck, we look forward to seeing some creative artistic entries!
Competition Rules 1. Must be hand drawn, either on paper or in a program. It can then be manipulated in an graphics program. But unoriginal artwork cannot be used as the main focus. Copyrighted images cannot be used. All pieces containing copyrighted images will be disqualified. 2. Submissions must follow the current theme that has been chosen by a moderator for that week. If you submit more than one piece, please clarify which one you would like to be judged. 3. If your image is larger than 600 pixels wide, please provide a link to the image instead of posting it in the forum. Otherwise, the image will be cut off. 4. Artists cannot win in subsequent weeks. You can still submit, but if you won the week before, you cannot get first place again the next week. 5. After the deadline, a moderator will pick the winner, and they will be awarded a 25 AP award.
I would like to win. But not for the merit...just for the knowledge that someone likes my pics I do care about the winning, but not about the merits :P
And I really like to draw...I used to be quite good with coal and pencil....but it was years ago..nowadays I'm bit rusty
hmm music has already been done, it was the first that Zophia entered in I remember....for some odd reason, and as for medieval I think we have done some similar themes before like the fairy tale/ adventure theme(I can't remember the exact name in Danish) and future is a bit similar to technology(which was a theme) but there is a fair difference there, as for crime though, thats something that is completely different and original, and it could have some interesting results.
I finally settled on the top three. It was difficult this week... I'll type the judging up soon, meanwhile I'll tell you that I like the idea of a crime theme...
don't really get it..how could the judging be so hard...if the judgment is based only for the artistic skills..overall quality, layout , how the stuff is placed in the pic etc. etc. so the winner would be either tiamont (or what it was)... or cen...so with these two...if it's hard to decide...you could flip a coin :P

From what I can tell it's not so much the presentation as it is how much it either makes you lul, or the way the theme is portrayed. Also extra points for paintz and whatnot.
