Anyone agree with me that they have lost it on their designs? I mean, first generation had a lot of prettily modified animals, second had quite a few of those too... Third began to use weird and twisted ones with more details, and fourth has just gone crazy... Of course that is just my opinion.
It's worse with some of the evolutions to the good old ones. Like Electivire, Magmortar and Togekiss. They didn't need evolutions!! Fourth gen is just - so unnecessary...
Just noting: Every three season (we are over 10) = a year. In the mini movie before the third movie, they are all celebrating having known each other (Ash and Pikachu) for a year. Besides that Pikachu is rather young. Just for the random. But yes, the series have been out of hand for a long time. And so has the TCG/generations/creepy pokemon.
geez man, on Ag youre supose to have over 13 i think huh? And i never saw anybody who was a freak of pokemon over 13 ^^. lol anyway, I used to like this series when I was a kid, like 7-8 old.. I'm not a big manga fan, the nly one im watching is naruto.
@felix60: I'm 18, I'd still be playing the TCG if I could afford it, I'd still watch the series and movies if they got shown on TV... My girlfriend actually downloaded the movies to watch them, and she just turned 19... Just saying. And yes, nerdy and proud of it.
Potentially, but I still like to draw the critters. The first two generations have some really pretty ones~ I don't spend time on Pokemon every week (or even month) but I'd be very sad to loose my collection of cards and figures. Sentimental value ftw. ^^
Like I'd spend that much money and then just throw them away. :P I keep them mainly because I like the illustrations~ Tiny little pieces of art, many of them. Like Mitsuhiro Arita and Kagemaru Himeno's. They very pretty.
Felix:First off if your first post was directed towards me then I'm 13 and I said that I watched it when I was like 6 or 7, and am wondering if others thought that it went downhill or what.
The TCG got some weird new rules like a year ago, and it's annoying how they require you to use the newest cards in the tournaments... Friggin money machine they made it too...
