Yes, I got this from the spore commercial, but I think that it could be highly possible. I believe in a godly form, so I guess I'm not TOTALLY atheist, but hell, I'm a kid, how do I know? Anyways, I feel that a godly figure created the earth and animals, but then just went to a completely different project all together.

A different project altogether...I don't often hear this suggestion.

Have you looked into deism?

sure, I'm not starting a DEBATE or ANYTHING even LIKE that. So don't get all, god is right, this is what happens, yadda yadda yadda on me. Not insulting, or trying to start anything here k? Anyways. . . .what's deism?

Simply put, deism is a belief that god started the universe moving but is now uninvolved in our lives. There are a lot of spins off of this basic concept, so defining the term any more specifically leads to pitfalls. But the two major premises are:
1) God created the universe (whatever that may mean)
2) God is currently uninvolved in our existence

So, a deist wouldn't pray (although some do) and as long as you're a "good person" (again, whatever that means) then you'll go to heaven. It's a very noncommittal approach to the notion of a god.

I am a believer in evolution and creationism as some may know. I wouldn't say I am deist since I believe God is indeed involved in our lives, just not the evolution of animals, humans, plants, etc.

Yeah that whole "And now God is on a different project" is totally deism. It has always sounded like a compromise to agnosticism, accepting God but not really putting much stock in God's existence.

Could you define creatalusionism? I haven't seen the commercial...

@Estel: How can you believe in evolution AND creationism? Note, I'm not asking how you can believe in evolution and God, so please don't go off on that. But I was under the impression that Creationism was a pretty specific and literal reading of the Genesis account of Creation in the Bible... How does evolution jive with that at all?

god never said how long his days were

Seriously? That is a far-fetched hypothesis.

I am pretty sure gods days were somewhere around the standard 24 hour.

24 is only standard here on Earth, on most other celestial bodies the day's are much different, for example a day on Jupiter is only 10 1/2 hours while one on the moon is closer to a month.

yes, that's true.

@Aquajag: I think estel means that he thinks god created us, then just sorta watched us evolve and is currently helping us (or smiting us) in our daily lives today.
