i only know the first 2 lvls, need help for the third, i keep dying, but here is the first 2 lvls, quite simple actually.
Lvl 1: send out your normal packs of guys 3 times, entrenching them and locking them in there. wait. the enemy will surrender.
Lvl 2: entrench 3 packs of normals and lock them in. if you can beat back the enemy, make 1 more normal and send them and 2 entrenched with him to take the other trench and lock them their. wait. they will surrender. a safer way to do this is the exact same as lvl 1, EXACTLY THE SAME! NO CHANGES!
Lvl 3: i dont know, i cant beat it, if i can get some help, it would be much appreciated.
just beat it, blitz them with assault troops, never let up, have them lock the first trench with no one in it, then, when they are out of the trench, send a team of norms, and entrench them, lock them, send anyone else alive to try to get 4 feet further.
lvl 4: immediatly make a normal troop, send them to the SECOND TRENCH, and lock them, have a sniper folo bombard the enemy trench whenever you can, and send the norms out when the enemy is no longer in the trenches.
the game can be comepleted in a series of ways. 1. the fun way this way is more pointed at the english. your most important troop here is the stormtrooper, and the fun way is simply to make a gday advance, and hope to take out anything in you path... of ocurse this should lead to many conquor victories. make sure to upgrade the stormtroopers grenades. and also do it in support weapons possition.
2. the boring way. mostly done with the germans. here the officer and the machinegunner are your most important troops. just find the first trench, dig in and then mow the english down untill their morale drops. here you will make a worse performance, leading to less exp. make sure to reinforce your mgs defensive abilitys(from the upgrade menu)
in the end, where you meet tanks, theres nothing else to do but to nuke them with tanks. if you also have tanks(which they do) then use firesupport to nuke them. BUT remember to wait with firesupport until the two tanks are in a firefight. if you dont, the right position of the fire support is harder to calculate, and it will quickly move out of the area. therefore wait untill is stands still. and if there are too many of the troops buzzing around it, its either of no matter, or in case of stormtroopers, youll have to give them a spray with the anti musqueto spray(known as toxic gas)
The sexret is when there are 3 trenches, you send the grenadiers directly to the second trench.
After you have 3 grenadier squads in you second trench, start more 3 squad to the first trench.
After they're ready you must first send another squad (your 2 trenches are full of grenadiers) and when they're passing through the first trench, you let your three entrenched squads go, and when they're on the second trench, you should let them go too.
This way you will have 7 squads of grenadiers, what means that yo have 28 units that are strong agains entrenched units.
Certainly you will take the las trench, and then, win the battle.
I think they should nerf the tanks a bit, having them pretty much removes all strategy from the game. I immediately won the last level because of them, it was completely anti-climactic.
Okay, here's a strategy which works most of the time for me:
Get your trench filled with: 1 machinegun, 1 sturmtruppen and 1 regular rifles.
Depending on the enemy defense, order another sturmtruppen or another regular squad. Just when they reach the trench, send out the other regulars and sturmtruppen. A costly strategy, which can be devastating to your morale, especially if the enemy is well entrenched (mines are absolute killers) and has lots of artillery. But in most cases this works pretty well.
The sturmtruppen take care of the trenches and the regulars make sure nobody new goes into the trench.
Later on, the tanks take care of most of your business, but this tactic got me through almost all levels of the Tommy-campaign.
Okay, lvl 6 on german side (gaining ground) is hard. Here are some ideas: The english artillery is the biggest annoyance togethter with the mines. The only way to keep it away from your trench is attacking, whenever the artillery does the slightest pause. This will force the AI to attack your moving units.
You have to wait for the first wave of attackers. (Sometimes the AI doesn't attack. Then you're basically screwed...) By this time your trench should be filled with 1 sniper, 2 sturmtruppen. Then you order 1 squad of regulars and wait till they reach your trench. Then you order ALL of them to attack.
Don't let up! Keep moving forward, even if the mines will kill many of your units. A steady mix of regulars and sturmtruppen will do the trick. And an officer now and then to keep the morale up. When I won, I had barely 30% morale left.
