my point is on this forum is that if we give zymn ideas he can make a legendary game (sort of) ah well i am just gunna leave this forum now cus this is goin nowhere
I just finished it and though you may of spent much time on it, it is a very poor game by most gaming sites standards. If I had not read any of your comments I would of thought this was your first game. I found it more aggravating then fun...not a good way to have repeat players. My opinion is that even though you said you were trying to make it seem retro, that it came across as sloppy. I would recommend that you keep making games and focus on artwork and just learning new design. As others have mentioned I would stay away from a platform - take a look through the top rated games on this site, most are based on a very simple concept but through character upgrades have replay ability and are very fun, think of an original way to follow this lead. Hopefully this didn't seem too harsh, put in some hours of practice and hard work and I'll look forward to playing your next title.
