a combo..well he/she would but would he/she really need it? they just come here to submit games and show there talent,they dont come for this whole gaming site unless user created stuff like me or you then he/she should get a merit.
Well, most of them get payed for the games actually. And besides, gamemakers dont care about points. They make games becuse they love to do it. They don't really want points, and could care less about them.

Well it does and and it doesnt. If someone were to to take the time to write a well thought out one one but it doesnt mean that all 9 or above rated games deserve merits!
If this was to happen, then they could just get ppl to rate them high without even really like/playing them. It would be unfair to the people who just like to enjoy the games.
This is an interesting idea. I like being able to reward developers for doing a great job making their games. However, there would have to be some important regulations on it. Mainly, that it would have to have a high score after a certain amount of time. This would prevent people from rating up a game right at the beginning just to get it. After more people have had a chance to see it, and there are a lot of reviews, then the score could be taken into account. I think it would be fairer that way.
