OMG some of my friends have ,mass effect and we all agree it is super boring... DO NOT GET MASS EFFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (long walks on the beaches...LOL)

I would also recommend getting Gears Of War2 not the first.

Starwars Unleashed is one I liked a lot, Gears of War, Halo 3 if you like Multiplayer. And for RPG's Lost Odyssey, I like the more realistic RPG's

RPGs are just fine. Only problem is I don't have alot of time to spend playing the game, remembering the story, etc.

CoD4 does it for me in that it keeps me engaged and angry when I fail.

Dont listen to this person. Game Informer sucks there reviews are biased to teh max. If you want a fair review of a game try Game Rankings. They take all the major sites reviews and tally the average up so you get a wider opinion on teh game in question.
