Just some things I thought about, all to do with
*drum roll*
THE LINE OF NO-POSTLYNESS!!
Anyways, For newcomers, if someone puts a post like this

"This is being spammed. Nobody can post below the line of no-postlyness!
__________________________________________________________"

That just means they are reporting it to a mod or the like and want nobody to spam up the thread.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Some other things I was wondering
Who came up with it?
Who came up with the name?
Why don't people ever acknowledge that mods and admins have the power to post under it?
What is my cat's name?
It's all about awareness people, all about awareness...
But to get back to the first sentence, yeah... If people see a line, they should REALLY reconsider whether whatever they are going to say is important enough to get the thread back on track.
That's perfect... no better explanation possible...
The line of no postlyness is to stop people spamming up the thread while you report it to a mod. As you know mods take action as soon as possible, but that is not fast enough to stop a thread getting out of hand. Also, the line hardly ever works...
Yeah, sometimes it seems like it only encourages people to post more... Very weird, really. I wish people would remember to read the posts before their own... >.>
