You get your frozen pinecone but after a few seconds the pinecone bursts into flames and you get 3rd degree burns!

I wish for a cool hat!

Your wish is granted but the cool hat becomes uncool because it is out of fashion

You get a hat that you think is the most awesome hat in the universe, but you fall into a frozen lake and it gets lost somewhere in the depths. In summer you try and retrieve the hat, but you get eaten by some sharks that lived in the lake. Somehow, it is a saltwater lake.
