I know alot of people avoid thees posts about GOD and Heaven but I just want to know peoples oppions about heaven.Do you belive there is a heaven and if you do what do you think its like?
I believe when you die your body`s corpse is deep underground, then the corpse is slowly loosing flesh and it feeds ground with mineral fat and makes it more fertile.
I believe that there is a heaven, and that it is as the bible says, when you die if you profess Jesus as Lord and your saviour that you will go there. This heaven is a large city filled with God's elect, Angels, and the Trinity. The streets are paved with gold to show how worthless gold is there. Your body is in the ground, your spirit is in heaven, and your body remains in the ground until the day that Jesus returns to begin the tribulation.

Do not make a joke out of someone else's beliefs. That is not nice.
Heaven is a very hard term to come by, discuss, or even imagine. But to think that people have described the "Heavens" or gave it's general direction (in the sky) makes me want to believe that Heaven is false. But I don't believe that, I do believe that there has to be a someplace that your soul, or sprit travels to after death. A life after death seems more fulfilling then an empty nothingness if the Heavens don't exist. So I stay with Heaven, but I do not know what it looks like, where it might be, who is in it, nor how big it is. I know nothing about it, but cherish it.
I believe that the idea of Heaven/Hell was made to keep people in line. There are some people who would go around randomly killing people for fun, but the idea of eternal punishment/reward might keep them from doing that.
It's a lot cheaper and easier than a police force.

That's a possibility. Never thought about it that way.
