I know alot of people avoid thees posts about GOD and Heaven but I just want to know peoples oppions about heaven.Do you belive there is a heaven and if you do what do you think its like?
What do you guys think about the heaven paradox? Let's just say that I'm a good Christian who's going to go to heaven but I really don't like phsycomonkey at all. I don't like him so much that it would ruin heaven for me. Problem is, he's also a good Christian and should also go to heaven. We can't both be there, though. What if my wife was a Christian who's going to heaven but as an atheist, I won't be going. It wouldn't be heaven for her without me (I hope) so does that mean I get a free ride?

I hope you know atheism doesn't condemn a person's soul in Christian eyes. The presence of another can't really ruin heaven for you because part of Hell is knowing that you can never leave and go to heaven. Plus, once you're in heaven, I don't think you'll dislike anybody or anything. As a Catholic, I believe God purifies our souls in purgatory so that we don't have sins wearing us down.

From what I learned, Catholics only believe that those who have received the holy sacraments are going to hell - and the only people doing the sacraments right are the Catholic and Apostolic Churches. You know that whole thing: "We believe in one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church." that's in the Nicene Creed?

That makes sense, but it also seems ad hoc. I don't think there's anything in the bible about such situations so any sort of answer would have to be "off the cuff" I suppose.

Baptism is the main thing. Other sacraments weren't taught by Jesus (Confirmation), but we just think it's appropriate for growing our souls. We believe that those who have not been Baptized are, if worthy of heaven, baptized through the blood of Christ (Baptism by blood) when they die.

We also believe that Christ didn't die for just one group but everyone. Naturally we are all divided into different religious groups, but everyone has a chance to do the right thing at many times in their life, with or without Christianity to back them up.
Then where in the world do you think your going when you die ?
There are many places that people think they could go.
Some say Heaven, some say Hell, some think nothing happens, you're just gone. And if you are an animal in the book "Animal Farm" you believe you're going to Sugar Candy Mountain.

If you believe in no heaven then you believe in no hell . If you do not believe in God then you don't believe in satan . If you don't believe in creation then how did we come to live in this unquie planet.This planet is made of I believe 97.5 % of water ! No other planet is like ours , think about .
How do you know your going to heaven ? And no I don't believe there will be BABES like you say = ) But serousily your not going to heaven if you just do good works , you HAVE to belive in God not your own works .
