70 is borderline retarded. 110 is the average person. 120 is a smart person. 130 is gifted person. 160 is a certified genius, when you reach this stage you will be scouted out by the club called the "genius club". Everyone there is extremely smart, however many of them don't have jobs because they don't know how to work with people. (being too smart has its sharp sides too).
anyway The way you can find out is going to a specialist and taking a test called the ISEE III (III=3).

I have taken the test as I was required to as a project for applying to Yale, my IQ is 156. no need to guess. (yea I know didn't make the genius club... )
Anyway random fact: the average IQ of the McCarthur Genius Grant is 142. That is 250,000 dollars for being smart. look it up if you don't believe me. Generally people can get any job they want if they get hooked up with the genius grant (it's like a Nobel prize).
