It's your Account for some site called SteamPowered, I think that's what it's called. It's a computer game site where you can buy games or play them, I don't really know much about it I saw it once and left quite quickly because I don't really care too much for it.

ok i use steam lots. it is a game company that has sold games like half life and counterstrike. by signing up for a ID you can pay than instantly download the games instead of buying them in a shop. by having an id you can join and create groups within the steam community and play online multiplayer games with people.

Yea, Steam is basically a product...of Valve.I think. I use mine for Counterstrike.

Yeah, like myspace is know by everyone. Steam is not very well known. So i guess the steamID is your friend code for steampower or whatever.
