This thread is for non-serious discussion for people who are devoted to Armor Games and make a point to come here often. There's no rules to how many Armor Points you need or how many posts, it's just about being a Flash Gamer and wanting to chat with others. I do ask, however, that you follow these rules as well as the TOS that Armor Games requires.
1. No Flaming (Remand Kind!) 2. No Asking For Help/Support. 3. Don't curse more than acceptable. 4. Respect all modserators/admins if they post. 5. No page stretching, random bumps, or posts with little to no point. 6. HAVE FUN!
Reminder: Just because we all play Flash games doesn't mean that's the only thing that should be discussed in this thread. This is more of a "lounge" (as the name suggest) and all topics are welcome. If more than one topic is being discussed at once, feel free to post a "RE: Topic X" header in bold. It's entirely optional, but it will help to make a cleaner thread.
*Squee!* Emos! I haven't met one really since everyone I knew got through their emo stage! They are just like kittens to me. Very dark, depressed and bleeding kittens.
And I can too make fun of them/make remarks about them. I was there once. Kinda. Most people have been.
I'm not REALLY emo, I just suffer from some pretty servere depression. I don't cut myself or anything. I'm on meds for it, and it's connected to some other medical issues that I'd rather not discuss. But what do you mean "a whole different generation", Asherlee?
Well, I'm almost 25 and the term "emo" didn't come into play until I was in college. So, I haven't experienced any emo kids. I only pick up what the internet gives to me.
Oh, and I am certainly not asking for you to go into your medical history. That is your business. I'm just curious about the group of people. I really can't see the difference between them and gothics.
I think you may be. But, of course, all you ear about and all I have ever met were in one way or another Christians.
Either way, almost all of the stereotypes surrounding emos and goths are just those. Stereotypes.
Just because I wear a lot of black and am pissed of, does that make me a goth? How about if I get depressed the next day? Now am I emo? Besides, I have known people who others would call goth due to outward looks and such yet can be very depressed at times and cut them selves. What are they now? Gemo? Moths?
Hmmm, I didn't know they had a tie to Christianity. And yes, all I know are the stereotypes. I've only ever been around athletes all the way up into college and then when I learned there is a life outside of soccer I met a more diverse crowd, but never emos or goths.
I do like that some of the emo boys I've seen aren't afraid to be feminine, yet some remain straight. It shows a lot, in my opinion, that someone is comfortable with their sexuality.
Straight? Ehm..sure. A lot of them I know have gone beyond the borders of Metrosexual Land into the more colorful land of Bisexual Territories. Why is it a republic and not a land? Why, because they deny it ever happened 3 months later. Same for some women. But a good deal of them stick with it. But, you know, I am not going to complain. ^_^
