What if every single nation gave all it's citizens like, 1 million dollars? That would stop poverty right? If all the nations gave their people money, then money would just overall increase in the world right? wouldn't that help a couple of the problems we have today? Or am I making a mistake here. . .?

If you gave every citizen, just in America one million dollars, the country would be even more bankrupt. There is no evidence that people will use it to circulate in the economy, and it is pretty impossible to give everyone million dollars, because many people are homeless, and in jail. People would also turn into Dr. Evil (brownie points if you get that).

YA, you have to understand how economies work. If everyone got 1 million, prices would grow to accommodate those levels of cash to a level of equilibrium so prices would remain at the same ratio as earnings. Plus no one would want to work, because they would all have money, and their would be large detrimental shifts in the economy. A completely bad thing. Its good when earnings increase due to labor because people spend more, creating more jobs for producers of those purchased products and the money cycles, increase the over all wealth of the nation, and health of the economy. But to the extreme of everyone getting 1 million, it wouldn't do any good.

That's even worse. If the U.S. can't afford to do it, then the whole world couldn't. Then not only would the U.S. economy explode into tiny cancer infected embers, but so would the rest of the world. So, yes I am officially LOLing at your comment like you predicted in the title.

$1M x ~ 500M = $500,000,000,000,000 ~
As you can see, the US alone would have to equal 500 trillion dollars, which the government does not have. This CANNOT happen, and it would be a huge problem if everyone did get a million dollars. Markets would collapse because of a huge inflation, due to everyone being rich, no one would do anything at all, and my above statement, "the whole world would be one giant kibbutz".
Kibbutz -- a society where all income is shared by the populace. This turns to everyone not doing their fair share of work by being lazy, we do nothing beneficial to the society, and we ultimately get destroyed in the end. As simple as that.
Back to the original posts, that would be impassible, because I dobut there is enevn that much money in existance. And then prices on everything would shoot up, so 1 million dollers would end up being more like 100 dollers.
