A traditional, house-hold favorite of my clan's forum games, the up, side, down, game. Here are the rules:
Rule #1:
^ = Answering someone's question
< = What you are currently doing now, or what you have done recently
V = Your very own question that the user below you will answer
Rule #2: Do NOT post "also" questions! This means that: e.g. You are drinking a glass of tea, so you would ask the question, "also drinking tea?" This is a giant no-no among my people. Be creative!
Rule #3: This is not a truth-or-dare game! Do not post questions that will make the user uncomfortable, such as sexual questions, or those that the below user deems inappropriate. So don't ask these questions please.
Rule #4: Of course, do not flame, spam, or abuse. Typical rule in every thread.
Since I'm the starter, I cannot ask a question, so...
<: Posting this thread
V: Are you going to watch the new movie Twilight at 12:00 AM, or when the crowd is smaller?
^ My buddy has two katanas and I already reserved one for this event. Seriously xD He also got a bow, but as he says only because crossbow is illegal without license.
< Playing mobile Interlocked. It's nice, it almost made me forget to post before GTS xD
^ I'll assume that you mean division of maths and not a kidney stone (both might cause horrible pain so I'm not sure which one you meant). Maybe a mobile app could help you. I use one for geometry (Geometryx) and it's very useful.
< Playing Euclidea.
V What power could be more useful for you: teleporting objects to you or teleporting yourself near objects?
^ As I saw in news, these airstrikes were aimed at chemical weapon depots. Article said that they were efficiently executed and well scaled, so we can assume army planned and calculated them. I think they were justified - it's easy to be smart and judge things after they happened, though.
< No problem. I was surprised how good are some science apps.
V Maybe another try on that question that Kat asked? I'm also kinda curious how do you guys deal with immature people?
^ Ehh, I was overdoing with skipping hours at highschool. I can't say that it was worth it - in the end of they day I lost time by doing so.
< I'd add to your answer: talk to these people rationally and assertively. Try pointing out your border - if they still cross it, then it's all situational what to do. Usually I don't see a problem with fighting back. If they're a supervisor then... good luck.
V What weapon would you like to wield in a medieval battle?
^ Ehm, eh? *Quickly googles the news*
Oh, my. Take a look at this. She was lost in the woods in Germany and was now found dead.. Now I feel bad for writing that upper thing. I guess Šešelj desecrating the Croatian flag was pretty top newsy too. (Though the latter is not a surprise)
< Are we ever going to start that post-apocalyptic role-play? Say, where's abcdragon?
V What was/is the silliest thing you were/are scared of?
^ Just do it! I mean don't get distracted by time wasters - you'll surely have some time to waste after the contest. Also complete silence and equilibrium to maximize the concentration.
< Having to go to sleep but not wanting to. The head of the head... That reminds me of a certain homunculus.
V Where is the island on which all the pirates live?
^ That would be a transcription of audio files. When I was studying my first course of study - sociology. I sticked to it only because it was completely remote.
< Being sunburnt, so trying not to move too much :-P
V What's a job that you wanted to have when you were a little kid?
