Hello Armor Gamers!

The Halloween Armatar Contest was so successful, that we will be doing it for other holidays as well! It was a great opportunity to see all of the creative talent on Armor Games.

So now we are on the theme of Thanksgiving! I know this is a mostly Americanized holiday, and that it doesn't really reflect what happened historically... but it is still a good time of year to spend time with friends and family, and eat some delicious food!

GUIDELINES:
1. Must be appropriate. Cannot be offensive or profane in nature. Try to keep it clean!
2. The entry must be square, and at least 100x100 pixels in dimension.
3. Must scale down well to 100x100. So if it is larger, make sure that it will still look good when it is scaled down to armatar size. A few suggestions about this:
- Sometimes simple is better. If you go into a lot of detail, it might not look as great when you scale it down. So just keep in mind what the final size will be.
- If you are able to do vector, that can help with the sharpness of the image. However, since they are so small this probably isn't a big issue.
4. Must be completely original. You cannot use elements from other piece of artwork, the entire armatar must be 100% original.
5. Must be Thanksgiving themed.

Good, i have to leave right now for Thanksgiving Vacation. We have a break for school. We are going skiing/snowboarding in CrustedButte pronounced: crestabute Here is mine.

That's like saying there's too many warrior armatars. Sorry for the turkey overload? I was drawing inspiration from elementary school.

Was there some sort of vote on which ones would be armatars?

I doubt it. It just has to conform to the guidelines... and whether or not Carlie thinks it good?

The pumpkin pie looks like its missing something but I can't think what. Can anyone help me with that?

Ok so I'm confused here... is it because mine was not 100x100? The next highest resolution I could've done was higher than that.... 70x100 was the smallest.

You could just add background filler to the top and botton to even it out. It's an easy fix.

The first armatars have been put out! Kind of cartoonish and a few of them are too small, but it's the best way to get into the spirit! (Even though it's way past Thanksgiving here)

Hey Gantic, really good job on hitting the real armater look!

And let's just say I really shouldn't have spent time on this... I'm ill, still late with my zombie entry, and have not finished either of my MWT entries... I shouldn't have wasted time on making this, I should have gone to bed...

Maybe it should be placed more towards the bottom right edge so it can shine better...

Dude, with the armatars I've been seeing so far, I would say that we could be able to draw all the armatars by ordinary users!

Man, I tried to make one but failed miserably, I need help with GIMP, I am used to just drawing with a pencil or pen, and I don't have a scanner, I will try again though.
