First stupid? I would ask you take that back considering the fact the a lot of smart people believe in god (einstein anyone?) also god does not plan everything he just knows when and where every event has ever and will ever occur. Also no he would not stop us becasue that would be taking away are free will which makes it so that we love god because he makes us which has no meaning to him.
That is a flaw: "God" gets credit for all of the good things that happen, while "Satan" is blamed for everything bad; however, when people die, unless they consider it good, will "Satan" be blamed? If the "soul" of the person goes to "heaven", that is something that people credit "God" with, but when the "soul" goes to "hell", the guy "Satan" is blamed.
Now here is the biggest flaw: who is responsible for death if some people find it good while others find it bad? Is "God" responsible when a person finds it good, while "Satan" is responsible when another person finds it bad? OR is it the other way around?
There are so many flaws with these "God" and "Satan" theories that I couldn't even begin the bigger ones...

next actauly this is a really easy one to answer before adam and eve ate the apple there was no death. Satan tempted Eve into eating it so you could blame Satan but in reality it's mankind that causes our own destruction. Also when people die they aren't dead unless they go to hell if they go to heaven they live forever. To back up this all.

Basically, religion isn't about getting into heaven and being a better person for the sake of being a better person anymore. It's about controlling people with all the different rules and setting ourselves apart from each other with our separate religions.

I think he's saying todays religions have become more to recruit people to their causes and have became many worthless teachings that have nothing to do with the original spirtuality, and only keep us divided.
